Had a tin of instant stick, like evostick, 6 months old, opened for the first time and it was dry. Product still had over 5 months before the end of its best before date. Changed no problem.

What more can you ask of a hardware shop?

They even offer to store bulky items until you're ready.

The shop is clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and helpful. The have everything you would need at reasonable prices. You can always order things to be in store the next day if there is something they dont keep in store.

Screw fix seem to have that right balance, they understand that the customer pays their wages. Their prices are fair and the staff do seem to understand not everyone knows what they are really looking for at times.
