Mind Charity Shop

Clean store, friendly staff, i have been going once a week for about 3-4 years, used to be quite expensive, but most items are now more realistically priced. Cheaper over the road, but better higher end brands, labels in this store usually.

The shop was a bit cluttered and the display a little disorganised. Having said that they still had some good bargains in the new year sale campaign!

Nice shop shame I couldn't afford the charity prices. Noted the dress I was wearing for sale at £16,,, I only paid £12 for it new..

Mind is a great charity. The mind shop in Hook is a nice shop for a great cause but the prices are extortionate. I've had a little chuckle a few times at how silly they are. They were CD audio books for sale for £15 which you can pick up elsewhere for between £2 and £5. I've heard other customers express the same view . Use a bit of common sense please.

Don't go in often because of ridiculous prices in there. Today thought I'd have a little look. Prices still ridiculous. I smiled at the lady behind the till as I came in, got glared at, no hello or anything, also got a filthy look as I left, won't bother again. Running a charity shop, not the Ritz hotel.
Charity shop over road MUCH nicer. Skip this one all together, just go straight over there.

Make charity shops cheap again!

I know they need to make money but they get everything for free and that should be respected. Sell it cheap, have high turn over and benefit the community!

I cannot believe the prices in this shop its ridiculously overpriced.
The manager who has been in charge for some years now is having a laugh! I don’t know how they ever sell anything. Some of the clothes are cheaper in the actual shops they are from! I’ve come close to saying this but I suspect she wouldn’t take my comments too kindly, I’ve heard her talking -she sounds rather brash. Its somewhat amusing to pop in from time to time to see what’s on sale and at what price 😂
It’s a shame because it’s a nicely displayed little shop but I’d rather look in St michaels hospice over the road that has more realistic price tags for a charity shop!

Didn't enjoy the constant put downs from a certain member of staff. Despite bringing in several bags of quality free stuff for them to sell I still felt underappreciated and an inconvenience. New to the area so will check out the one over the road in future 🙂.

Dropped off some items there, was faced with really picky and snobby staff that made me feel like they’re doing me a favour. Some of the clothes that were donated still had the tags on them!

This charity shop prices are a complete joke.over priced and very unfriendly looking down on both customers and the ones that donate items. The manager thinks its an exclusive shop.

Ladies spent the entire time in the back chatting and didn’t bother to come out. Very different service and atmosphere to the charity shop opposite.
