Cafe @ Burn Lane Community Cafe

So grateful for this lovely inclusive cafe! I always enjoy popping in for a treat and the very friendly and welcoming waiter is such a delight! Unfortunately on my latest trip there were some grown adult customers being very ableist and rude. This won’t stop me from returning though, as I really appreciate the staff and ethos!

Plenty of choice on the menu at reasonable prices. Food ordered came very quickly. I had the best poached eggs on toast that I've ever had from a cafe, they were runny in the middle so when cut into the yolk soaked into the toast, yummy. My son had a full breakfast, which again was well cooked and very tasty. Staff are very friendly and polite. Lots of space to get around between seating which is great for wheelchair users. Disabled toilet as well as male and female toilets. Disabled parking space.

I know it's only a breakfast !!
But this one was absolutely outstanding. The full English was so tasty, red hot ,and quality ingredients
I will be going back again.
£6:60 is brilliant value.
A newly opened place ?? in Hexham charges £14:75 !!!

My first visit today with my daughter granddaughter plus 3 dogs.
What a wonderful cafe. Food is excellent and so reasonably priced, staff are very friendly and attentive.
Will be calling in often now that i have discovered this gem of a place.
Particularly as i walk my dogs most days on Tyne Green Riverside.

Lovely staff and a great place for a coffee and homemade cake stop. Their other meal choices looked good too.

This is a cafe that welcomes everyone reflecting its community foundations. So as well as office and professional people there will be young mums and babies, elderly folk having a treat, disabled people often with carers as well as people with dogs. Prices are very reasonable, food is freshly cooked and there are lovely traybakes. Everything except the muffins are homemade. Rooms can ge rented for meetings or courses and there are two workstations with free use Dell computers. There is a highly equipped disabled toilet and level access and disabled parking. There is a large outside seating area for warm days.
