Caffè Nero

A big congratulations to the girl working there, and I mean 'the' girl. She was the only member of the staff, the other had phoned in sick.
Yet, there was no queue, inspired of a good turnover of customers, the place was clean, and she kept the tables clear as people left.
She should get a bonus.

Best coffee in the World at Neros. This particular place has a very nice upstairs seating area with easy chairs. Also small outside seating on the pavement. It nice that they offer you a glass of water with your coffee. Great staff.

Really nice to have a coffee shop where you can take your dogs. Nice tasting coffee, hot chocolate went down well too.

Went to Cafe Nero for a coffee while I was waiting for Dad as he had surgery at the time.
Staff super friendly. Had a lovely chat and laugh with them after asking for Large Latte with 3 extra shots. They couldn't stop laughing ha ha.
Overal lovely place in the city centre. You can sit outside, inside ground floor or on first floor. I was pleasantly surprise how cosy it was.
I will definitely come back here when I come to visit Hexham.

We come here every Sunday to have our weekly brunch whilst out and about in Hexham. Great coffee shop, well trained and polite baristas that make fantastic, rich coffee. Really happy that there is a Cafe Nero chain in Hexham!

It was lovely here. Great staff, nice coffee and good snacks. Yes, Caffe Nero is a chain, but it was welcoming, comfortable and did a decent black coffee.

Great staff inmost occasions, but both slices of cake today were dry, as obviously old. One was free as a birthday gift from Nero, so extra disappointing. Been here several times and was always fine before.

Always a nice place to relax with a coffee.
Dont normally have a negative comment and i've nothing against dogs, but there were just too many on this occassion😕

Great service, best coffee in town. Staff are all really friendly. Good toilet facilities although the bathroom could do with a refurb.

Happy with the cheerful and knowledgable staff, the seating on the first floor looks quite cozy. Good espresso. Do not recommend the Vega chicken arrabiata sandwich though.

A nice little cafe, never very busy when we pass by on weekends. I use my Perkbox voucher to redeem a free drink every week or so, without hassle or bother.

Staff are always friendly and quick.

Fantastic service from the lady barista working today (sorry didn't catch her name) who talked us through different options for our drinks to make sure we had the best ones and then ran down the straight after us with the shopping we had left at our table!! Cafe Nero is a favourite of my husband's and mine we really enjoy the coffee. I look up where there might be a Caffè Nero before visiting a town.
They have a good choice of Panini and sandwiches some of which are Vegan . There are cakes and scones etc
You can relax read the newspaper there is no rush ....typical traditional coffee shop some bucket chairs just the job for relaxing

This is our fav coffee shop in Hexham, 1st time back after lock down. Cafe was spotless, as usual, clear signs explaining their rules etc. Staff friendly as usual, chatting away to everyone who came in. I hadn't realised but it's in the money off scheme too so got half price coffees, even better.

Hexham is nice... I wish Caffè Nero had USB charging ports but its an observation not a criticism.

For a lot of people, this is the social centre of Hexham. An old building, pleasantly renovated, in the heart of the shopping area. Plenty of comfy space upstairs, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Much of the space is inaccessible for people with reduced mobility, but there are some tables and a disabled loo on the ground floor.

Rarely gets too busy, great place to chill or to catch up on a bit of work

Coffee is is like any food some you like some you don't and some you can't put in your mouth. Now I happen to love NERO coffee and info like there food. Top marks

Great as far as chain coffee shops get. One of the better Nero cafes I've been in.
