The Old Marine Bar & Hotel

Popped in on our first day in Hunstanton. The bar was full! Lovely to see. Lots of dogs. We didn't eat but the menu looks great: mussels; steak and kidney pudding! Alcohol free beer choice for me and a roaring fire. Also a great collection of pub/bar accessories.

Winter walk on the beach and called in for late lunch, good pub grub. Doggy friendly, fire on top. Friendly and welcoming. Food was good, enjoyed it.

Wonderful place, staff very friendly and helpful ,food was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Always nip in here with the mrs for a beer or food when in town.. inside is very cosy and nice but in the heart of summer sitting outside as the the sun sets is just pure quality.
Will be back multiple times all year round.

Fantastic bar, very traditional feel to the place. Hasn't really changed much in the almost 40years I've known it. Good food, beer well kept and prices are reasonable too.

We had a lovely meal and watched all the xmas decorations being put up x Lots of meal choices and dogs are welcome 🐾🐶

Great food. Great all around. You won't be disappointed. Just had meals 2 times.

*UPDATE* 21/3/24 yet again, we had to go here. Food was perfect. I had my liver, bacon and onions and the other half had a steak and kidney pudding. All was perfect!
I've been here a few times now. I've never had a bad meal. It's an old traditional pub. If you're looking for one of these modern yuppy pubs this maybe won't be for you. If you want traditional dining, with simple good food, cooked properly and a friendly atmosphere and very sensible prices for somewhere so near the beach. It's got all the meals you'll be looking for as well. I personally love the menu there's items on there that you just don't get in many pubs now. I like to try and go there when in Hunstanton. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely cosy pub, good service, nice food that was good and hot, we will be back.

Didn't use hotel only the bar and food. Food was lovely. Fresh and generous portions. We had our 2 year old grandson with us and we were made very welcome. Staff were lovely. Nothing to be negative about.

Nice place, and after the other pubs in Hunstanton have closed at 9.00pm, the Marine Bar doesn't close till 10.00pm

As always this pub is very good. Plenty of seating. A great mix of locals and tourists.
The beer was spot on and priced very well.
Definitely will be back soon.

This was our first stop once we got to Hunstanton, to freshen up. Handy carpark across the road.
Service is good, very polite and friendly. Not very expensive either.

So glad we went in here!
From outside I couldn’t work out if any one was in or what kind of place it actually was, but with my other half’s persuasion we went in. Nice and cosy and the food was so superb we went back in the next evening too!
I’d fully recommend it to everyone as long as they don’t have a dog allergy! 😊

Popped in for an evening meal with friends. Good selection of beers and nice, simple, but very tasty food on offer. Highly recommend a visit.

We had lunch in this dog friendly pub. Delicious food reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and considering it was a Thursday lunchtime it is obviously a very popular venue for locals as well as visitors.

Visited for evening meal and it didn't disappoint. Food was excellent and well presented. Good quality and value for money.
