This hidden gem is just amazing, particularly for parents. Huge beer garden with a nice new play area. Beautiful old buildings tastefully refreshed. The food and service are exemplary with high quality local ingredients. The kids menu is unpretentious and expertly prepared.
Everyone left satisfied and relaxed, no upset children and the bill was reasonable. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our meal at the White Horse at the weekend. There's a nice and varied menu. Interestingly the message on the menu is all about sharing so I think they are wanting it to a bit like tapas rather than individual meals for each person. But basically there are starters, main courses and desserts! Our meals were all well-presented, good quality and tasty. We got a warm welcome on arrival, and had super friendly service from all the staff, with a special mention for our waitress Elisa! Prices were pretty reasonable too. And despite being full, the restaurant was not at all noisy, because it's broken up into smaller areas. All round, a 5-star place to eat.

A beautiful pub! We had a large table of 11 booked for this evening, with lots of dietary requirements, and the service and food was absolutely amazing. Very grateful for all of the team for making our chaotic family birthday dinner so special. Would definitely eat here again! Highly recommend.

Excellent pub, recently refurbished in lovely village. Dropped in food amazing, better than usual pub fayre more what you would expect in good restaurant. Likewise veg and potatoes are extra which has benefit of choice. But still good food with drink for £25 pp. Only minor issue is coffee was not as hot as it could have been.

Our first visit to the newly renovated White Horse exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very efficient, we were so well looked after. The food was absolutely delicious, we really enjoyed the different experience of having several small dishes to share. The Tiramisu pudding was the best my wife has ever had. All round 5 star experience we will definitely return.

We wandered in on the first ‘soft opening’ night under new management and ownership and four of us were made very welcome we had a really lovely evening. The food and service was superb and they have clearly recruited well in all areas. 👏👏 The lovely new garden is almost complete and a new large car park well on its way to completing an amazing transformation.

Revamped village pub. New menu including a selection of vegan options. Sat outside and ordered small plates of vegan starters and side dishes. All presented well. We had focaccia with rapeseed oil, broccoli with walnuts and grains with peas and beans. Good selection of hot drinks, oat and soya milk available. Busy when we visited,
plenty of parking and seating inside and out.Dog friendly.

We sat in the newly renovated garden, ordered an array of dishes from the smaller, larger and sharing plates and our experience was without a doubt exceptional. Food was delicious, service warm and atmosphere was welcoming. Well done all, excited to return

Got the big table by the bar, great for 6-10 peeps (you can't book this, so pot luck!). Had loads'a great food, stuffed to the gunwales. Marvellous local pub with great grub. Went back to get the same table again 5 days later.....no chance, pub was packed, and looked like it had been all day! That's staycationing and half term combined...

Visited here this afternoon for lunch.Food was fantastic enjoyed every morsel. Best meal so far this holiday.Can recommend Cod Cheek Scampi and the cromer Crab.

1st time here in ages only thing I can say is fantastic , seems like loads of work has gone in to the refurbishment and staffing and as for the food this restaurant can hold it’s head high along the coast because you can rival anyone else with the choice and standard of food .

What a change. The pub has been completely refurbished the restaurant looks amazing. Great staff and the garden has been transformed to a beautiful area to sit, eat, drink and be merry.

Amazing food and service. Located in a stunning little village. They have a range of specials which are also fantastic. If you can, try the seafood chowder. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful place, extensive menu (including for vegans / vegetarians), great value for money, great portion sizes and wonderful food. Just wish it was closer than 300 miles away.

We stopped by for a bit of late lunch, the sea bass was lovely, very fresh and lovely new potatoes and salad , we only live up the road we will be definitely returning for something else on the menu , good value for money.

Amazing food at reasonable prices. Finished off our 2 week stay Norfolk with a special treat. Highly recommended
