The Happy Apple

This little shop stocks the most amazing products.
As you enter, you walk past an array of great quality fruit & vegetables then even more, for salads etc, in a chiller in the first aisle.
You need to just wander along each aisle as there are so many great & unusual local & continental products.
They sell sachets of herbs, cooking ingredients & a great selection of teas, coffees & tasty treats.
They stock a great range of non-alcoholic & alcoholic beverages. Plus freshly baked goods, chilled pies, cheese etc.
They are also open until 10pm so extremely handy.
Enjoy a mooch around this cornucopia of a shop next time you're in Totnes.

Fantastic shop to find an array of things such as local & organic produce (cheese, meet, chocolate) and diverse ingredients AND it’s stays open late!

WARNING the Apples are NOT HAPPY. The Apples in fact are very UNhappy because they are being SOLD to be EATEN. other than this, a great convenience store that I frequent. I especially recommend the highly eclectic snacks section.

Git everything you need and more plus the staff are very helpful and friendly!

It's the main shop in town where you can do a food shop and get toiletries and all you need in a basic shop!

Also, it's the only place in town that's has cash machines so you don't have to go all the way down to the one bank in Totnes Lloyd's!

The shop opens up like the tardis, and contrary to the impression from outside, is a fully fledged supermarket. It contains a well curated selection of everything that you could need, plus plenty of organic and more indulgent purchases.

This amazing shop is one of the hubs of Totnes life. It sells everything from upmarket organics to household basics and is particularly strong on international sauces and spices, local fruit and veg and has a great range of organic wines. If you haven't shopped in. Happy Apple, you haven't lived a full life!

Always open and good selection of produce

If your looking for something special or non mainstream look in this shop. It's great seeing products without major supply company labels on it. Great selection of products and well worth a visit. Always very busy.

Must be the best convenience store in the world. So much choice, and has ingredients that are almost impossible to track down in large towns. Super polite staff even though we called in late in the shift.

This place is absolutely wonderful! The staff are really kind and helpful. The clothes are super cute and there are a lot of crochet tops! Would definitely recommend.

It's one of my favourite shops in Totnes as they stock a wide variety of products, including local and organic/gluten free and special diets...as well as lots of nice sweets and chocolates, veggies could improve though.

Amazing they keep going. A friend of mine went there and forgot money. One member of staff went to her own home and got some things out of her own fridge and delivered to my friend. Very kind.

I was just visiting South Devon so unfortunately I can't shop here regularly. I don't know another shop like Happy Apple but I wish there were more.

Lovely staff great range always good prices and well stocked. All the weird and wonderful things you could want within and close to use by.

Surprisingly good range of both fresh local produce and even some exotic grocery requisites. Not at all overpriced despite being open extended hours.
