First time visit and it won't be the last.. Really pleasant and helpful staff in both the shop and the cafe. Two good coffees and we can recommend the poached eggs on toast and the Butchers breakfast. Everything was spot on.
Everyone is welcome. This includes dog owner ( a separate large barn seating area )
The cafe shop and barn all have disabled access.
A hidden gem.

We love going to Stoneygate. Bernadette and Malcolm are always friendly. The food in the restaurant is always good, and the scotch eggs, sausage rolls, and pies in the farm shop are simply the best you can get anywhere!! Fantastic!!

Lovely atmosphere at the farm. The shop and cafe is great, even has outside seating area where you can listen to the birds. The staff was friendly and the food was gorgeous Homemade from ingredients mostly sourced from the farm. I'd recommend.

Very nice personell. We have ordered some take away and had no time to wait for it, and after the lunch we got back and had our tasty food waiting ready for us. In addition they gave us a piece of extra tasty brownie. Thanks guys!

Small but perfectly formed. Ideal for a snack or a full meal; we have visited on a number of occasions and have enjoyed both. There is a small farm shop attached with a good selection of meats (the pork crackling is thoroughly recommended)

Our Sunday lunch experience at Stoneygate Farm Shop Cafe was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we stepped in, the charm of the farm and visible cow sheds and the inviting ambiance of the cafe set the stage for a delightful meal. The menu boasted a variety of fresh, locally sourced options, and the Sunday lunch offerings were exceptional.
The flavors were rich, portions generous, and the attention to detail in presentation was evident.
The friendly staff added to the positive atmosphere, making it a memorable dining experience. Stoneygate Farm Shop Cafe is a must-visit for those seeking a delectable and charming Sunday lunch destination.

Had a delightful lunch. Wife and i ordered different burgers and shared ( big malc and Bennys) both vey tasty and well presented. Staff very good, brought a caraffe of water without prompting. The food is cooked to order so a little wait but definitely worth it.....

Excellent. We stopped late in the day for a coffee and came, staff very friendly, nothing was trouble, the coffee was super lovely so bought some beans, and we bought steaks for dinner and they may just be the best steaks we’ve ever had (and we’ve had plenty) also had a lovely chat with the cows which made my day

Deliciously fresh food, friendly staff, relaxing and homely atmosphere - this family owned from farm to table restaurant offers some of the best meat we’ve ever tasted because it comes from happy healthy animals. Thank you for an amazing lunch!

Lovely place! Didn't have a chance to have a proper sit in at the cafe, but had a chat and a look around. Everyone was super friendly. I look forward to coming back!

What a gem of a place. We stopped in opportunistically for a Sunday roast and it was right up there with the best I’ve had. The meat was delicious and the chef made a special effort to cater for my partner who is gluten intolerant. Afterwards we decided to get some meat and cheese from the farm shop because it’s rare to find such high quality locally reared produce. The service was great, the food was top notch, can’t recommend highly enough.

Went for breakfast today 5/08 and what a great experience. Had the butcher's breakfast, it was excellent. Quality meat cooked right, my mate, who doesn't normally eat black pudding, ate all of his, as it was so nice.
If I was to nitpick is say that I'd like thicker bacon, but it was delicious.
Not the cheapest place to eat, but well worth a visit if you want to spoil yourself.
I will be back.

Called in for coffee and cake . The cafe is clean and pleasant. Not too much choice of cake but it is only a small cafe so not too surprised. I'd rather have less choice than left over, dry cake! The carrot cake was moist and delicious and a most generous size! 😊Coffee was hot and full of flavour. And the bill was a very pleasant surprise.
Called in at the shop and, even though we explained that we were browsing and not buying, the lady was super friendly and chatty. Next time we will be buying!
It was a very pleasant experience. We will be back. Please don't change your format.
Thank you!

The salmon cut of beef was so tender and moist. I always buy meat from Stoneygate, it’s not the cheapest but it is the best and the animal welfare issue which is very important to me is very good. Sunday lunch is always excellent and cooked to perfection. The owners Malcolm and Bernadette work really hard long hours and are fairly well supported in the community. The shop is always well stocked with dairy, veg, meat and wine and they have a really good cheese selection.

Lovely meal today at the Stoneygate, the lamb was so tender and tasted amazing. We also went into the shop, where the lady was really friendly and helpful, we came away with plenty of lovely things to cook at home. Well worth a trip here

I have visited Stoney Gate Farm for many years now, Staff are always friendly and polite and willing to take the time to help and support. There is some really nice quality homemade food, cooked to order, so definitely worth the wait. The produce in the shop is always fresh and of good quality and if not home reared is locally sourced, it is always nice to know where your meat is from.

Lovely cafe the food was fresh and hot, reasonably priced and the coffee was great too, all the staff were friendly and attentive as it is table service and you could also purchase most items from the menu in the shop to take home. This family friendly run business is well worth a visit and very easy to find if you use Google Maps as satnav in cars can be out of date and you do not want to miss this gem it is so much better than other farm shops on the A66.

Great breakfast in the small cafe and superb fresh meat in the butchers shop next door. Bought a piece of hoggart, cooked my slow cooker and it was delicious 😋, best lamb I've eaten in years.
