Absolutely amazing. What a step back in time. Such an interesting site. A large site, it must have been very busy in its day, very peaceful and very picturesque - most definitely worth a visit!

Parking can be a bit of a challenge on a busy day but we manage to park on site see picture of for car park. There is an honesty box for car park £2 for all day and £1 for parking which is used to maintain the car park . It is an English Heritage, but it doesn't cost anything to get in. There is no shelter, no toilets or restaurants so good on a nice day!

It is a four mile circular walk from Richmond so if you can leave your car there and walk you won’t regret it.

Absolutely amazing. What a step back in time. Such an interesting site. We stopped off as part of a circular 4 mile walk from Richmond, but there appears to be a small car park there, but leave your car behind if you can!

What a beautiful place! We visited on a Saturday. Parking is scarce so walking from the castle might be best for those who are able.

This place is a hidden gem! It's the perfect spot to spend a lovely afternoon with your family. Take a scenic walk to Richmond Town Centre and soak in the beauty of the River Swale. There's a small car park at St Agatha Church—just pop £2 in the honesty box. Enjoy the serene surroundings and make the most of this charming escape!

Fantastic ruins to explore. Some useful information boards to help you understand what you're looking at. More to the site than we thought there would be. Small car park beginning to church asking for a small donation for use.

This is a lovely place, you get to learn the history of the abbey, which is fascinating, and it’s a lovely spot to have a picnic and just chill out for the day. The scenery is beautiful, and the kids always enjoy the echo stone as you first enter.

Interesting ruins of Easby abbey. Good information board explaining the history through the life of this place. Looked a lot better in the 1970s before the stone wall was built alongside the road blocking the view over the River Swale

Amazing experience- full of ruins built to a massive scale. It’s free to visit and you can spend ages exploring the ruins. Useful signs telling you what the different parts of the abbey were used for.

A stunning place to visit if in Richmond, we visited in the early evening, and the views from the top of the bank were beautiful. The Abbey also has a small garden to the back with will flowers.

On a sunny Sunday afternoon, there were few people around, the parking was free and there is no entrance charge.
The ruined abbey reminded me a little of Tintern Abbey on the banks of the Wye, there is a great feeling of history and mystery.
Easby Abbey sits on the banks of the Swale and a walk along the banks is magical.

A beautiful Abbey in immaculate grounds, definitely worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.
There is also a river that runs along the other side of the path from the Abbey.
Another fantastic English Heritage site. There are no entry fees to this Abbey, but we are members anyway.
There is a small car park in front of the church that is next door. You just need to follow the path from the church round the front of the Abbey to the gated entrance.

Stunning. A must if you are in Richmond. And the adjacent church is simply sublime. The ruins are simply astonishing What it would have been like if not destroyed one cannot imagine. Access it via the 2 mile walk from the Station carpark. 2.5 for 4 hours. Map available in The Station complex . Then visit the waterfall and the castle. And then Wetherspoons, to cap the day. Blue discs available from certain shops, for two hours free parking in the Market Square. Free after 6 without one.

Very interesting place. It must have been massive when it was standing. The kids loved exploring it and we played hide and seek in the ruins for ages as there are tonnes of hidey holes. Free to view which is a plus point!
