I Have to admit that I had my doubts buying through a broker such as Piran caravan sales, but these were totally unfounded, Piran caravan sales are a very professional and caring business who take pride in their processes ensuring the caravans they sell meet their high standards, this give prospective purchasers confidence in the caravans they buy.
They check for water ingress and service the caravans prior to sale ( By A38 Caravans who are on the same site) which enables product confidence for buyer and seller.
My buying experience was excellent, the team were informative and extremely helpful, so much so I decided to ask Piran caravan sales to sell my old van.
I'm glad I did, as it was sold in a couple of days. What a result.

I came to these guys, at A38 caravans which also do the Piran caravan sales, because my 3 way Thetford fridge had gone boom. After extensive testing it proved to be a goner. No problem to fit a new one for these guys. The replacement fridge was too big to fit through the habitation door, so they carefully manhandled it in via the cab door. Done and fitted and working without a scratch to anything. While I was there I spotted some damp repairs being performed on a vehicle which I would have considered unsaveable until I saw the finished job.. as good as new again. I'll be certainly going back for my habitation check next year. The prices are very fair too! Well done A38 / Piran

We decided to sell our caravan with the help of Piran Caravan Sales. The whole process was straightforward, friendly and transparent. The van was collected on the appointed day. A week or so later we had a call from the servicing engineer who went through the service report and then broke the bad news to us that there was , unbeknown to us, several areas of damp which effectively rendered the caravan uneconomical to repair. Despite this news we found Piran Caravan Sales to be kind, generous and sympathetic. Shannon found a trader who gave some money for the van and arranged for it to be paid directly to us. We went and collected equipment we had left as part of he sale and met Shannon and the team. They could not have been more helpful....Although the outcome was not what we would have wanted we could not have wished to deal with a more generous and genuine set of people. Thank you for everything!

Sold my caravan through Piran caravans; both Amber and Shannon were a pleasure to deal with through the whole process and kept me informed at every stage. The caravan needed a bit of work prior to sale and having A38 on site made this a seem-less process. Overall I would have no hesitation recommending both Piran caravans sales and A38 caravan servicing (and CaraDoc mobile servicing; also part of the family, who has serviced the caravan remotely for the past three years).

After a bad experience with a new coachman back in 2012 we got away from caravans until now we wanted something to take to drag racing meetings and vintage weekends tried a tent 😕 so we started looking for a used caravan we looked hi and low. We have have just completed the sale of our caravan through Pirans Caravan Sales. This was by the far the easiest transaction I have ever done! From my first enquiry the staff at Pirans have been outstanding. They took all the stress out of selling by collecting our caravan from our storage unit, performing a service, advising of any works to be completed and then arranging with the equally fabulous A38 Caravans to get these works done. They then sold our van almost immediately taking care of all the paperwork. If you’re thinking of selling a caravan through them then I couldn’t recommended them highly enough. Piran caravan sales have sold 2 caravans for me. Excellent service. Got a good price for them but they did all the work. Completely stress free . I received my money quickly once they found a buyer.

Piran were absolutely fantastic when we recently purchased our caravan. We nearly got stung on a private Facebook sale which was extremely stressful. I would seriously advise not buying privately as you never know what you you might be ending up with! The team at Piran helped us understand that we were at risk and I couldn't fault their diligence and willingness to go the extra mile.

Piran Caravan Sales ensure all the caravans that are for sale are in full working order, serviced, and have no damp issues. My advise would be if you are in this area to go up and chat with the team. They are super helpful and gave us confidence in purchasing our dream caravan. It's also nice to be dealing with a family business.

What also helps is that they have a sister company that offer both onsite and mobile repairs. I feel moving forward that i wouldn't go anywhere else for servicing and advise.

I recently tried to sell my caravan but following a number of calls which led to nothing I decided to give Piran a call. From my initial contact through to service and then sale they were nothing short of amazing. It all started with Trevor coming to collect the caravan through to dealing with Wendy, Amber and Shannon - what a great team. Whilst we didn't actually purchase a caravan we can only praise the excellent advice given by Shannon in trying to secure a deal. The caravan in question was in great condition but, we felt, required a few 'upgrades' which she tried to negotiate with the owner, sadly without their flexibility. Living in West Sussex purchasing a caravan in Cornwall proved a bridge too far.

Fantastic service from Piran Caravans. Called in just to look at a caravan, very impressed with the service we got, nothing was too much trouble, I am in a wheelchair and they could not have been more helpful. Went home and discussed what we had looked at. We rang them a couple of days later and bought a Swift Elegance 480. They delivered it a few days later. We had an hour long my handover at Piran Caravan on the Saturday. The caravan was delivered to us at 8.45am on the Tuesday morning. Brilliant service all around would definitely recommend them. I've purchased 2 caravans from Piran, and currently in the process of selling one. I cannot fault the service Piran have provided me from start to finish. Nothing is too much trouble for them, the pricing for both purchases and sales is reasonable, and the piece of mind that all caravans go through an independant service makes it a no brainer for me. I'll never go elsewhere for a caravan!

Selling a caravan can be difficult to deal with on your own and so I contacted Piran Caravan Sales to ask if they would be interested in selling it on my behalf. I contacted Shannon who was very helpful and explained the process. I did not want the hassle of advertising, negotiating and selling the caravan myself so paying a commission fee for someone to deal the entire process saved me a lot of stress. I paid a little extra for Trevor to collect and tow the caravan back to his dealership. The commission included a full clean inside and out, they even serviced it for me. I left everything in their capable hands. About a month later I had a phone call from Shannon to say they had taken a deposit and by the end of the week the full amount less their commission was in my bank.
The entire experience I had with Piran Caravan Sales was superb, and customer service was flawless. If like me, you prefer not to have the headache of selling your own caravan then I would highly recommend Piran Caravan Sales 10/10.
