A great little place. A wonderful bakery, really nice cafe, tasty food and brilliant and busy staff. The food is rustic and delicious. What else do you need. I loved my Branson Pickle and Cheese swirl...........

Not much from the outside but a great little bakery and cafe, with some very interesting cakes and (apparently famous) swirls with fantastic fillings. Favourite so far camembert mushroom and spinach. Will keep trying new ones.

Delicious goats cheese, beetroot and spinach swirl plus a perfect flat white just picked up from this lovely bakery. The girls were great there too. What a great start to my day!

Delightful little bakery and coffee shop off the main road and right on the Drakes Trail. Really friendly staff, lots of seating options and an excellent range of cakes and scrolls in the display cabinet all made fresh. The coffee was also very good and the selection of chocolate so you could choose the sweetness (55-85% Cocoa) is a fantastic idea. The savoury scrolls (1. Pulled Pork and Dragon fruit. 2 Chorizo and herb) were delicious with plenty of filling and excellent quality bread, so light and fluffy. This is a must stop on the Drakes Trail, everything looked so good and I am sure they would all taste just as good.

Went here after a recommendation from a local. It did not disappoint. Lovely oat milk coffee and a great selection of gluten free/dairy free and vegan cakes.

this bakery has good coffees, cakes and sandwiches. It seems to be run by locals, meaning you get that extra attention and lots of handmade food. The sandwich was delicious. It was really comforting to find this coffee shop as you walk the national park. A hot coffee, cakes and a good menu. You can buy greeting cards as well and have some takeaway to continue the walk. Ample Parking just outside the bakery, and a kids zone playground are also nearby. The whole area outside is simply amazing

Had a wonderful soup and roll lunch here today. The homemade butternut squash soup was delicious and very hearty. Cakes were too tempting not to try too!

Consistently excellent! Really friendly warm welcome with a superb range of stuff...most of which is prepared on premises. Good covid system, but it can occasionally be a bit tedious waiting outside whilst another customer is served (only 1 customer at a time) - BUT it's worth it!
They also do 'click & collect', which I not used but looks very efficient and you can go straight in & collect your order. Very highly recommended. Oh, good for a coffee & bun stop if cycling that way.

Excellent coffee stop: great coffee and lovely ginger shortbread (other cakes/sandwiches etc look good too). Sit inside or out. Nice bikeshop nearby too. Friendly staff and customers.

We've been there a few times, as we live in Plymouth. A lovely " country feel " to it. A nice variety of home made produce at good prices. Very friendly staff and good seating inside and out.

Without doubt 'the' best hot chocolate, ever!! A lovely treat when walking my dogs on the moor. The bakery has a variety of pastries and food, as well as selling some local produce and supporting a local pottery artist. All of the staff are helpful and friendly.

Loved our lunchtime stop over at this Yelverton corner bakery/cafe in January, the soup smelled delicious but we went for the savoury bread twists and oat milk lattes. Perfect. Would recommend if you are visiting Dartmoor and need a comfortable, hearty lunch.
