Dukes Coffee House

Well my first time visiting Tavistock and found Dukes, what a find, we sat outside and within minutes, Masie came to our table to take our order, she also bought our order to the table, she's such an asset to the business giving really good effective service, if you're in Tavistock check it out,

This coffee house is in the Tavistock market.
I was visiting with friends and decided it was coffee time. Well, you can't fault the service in this place. It was fast and very friendly.
The bonus is that the coffee was superb as well.
Very impressive.

Excellent cafe within Tavistock market. My wife and I had lunch here today. There is plenty of outdoor seating and whilst the menu was short (ideal), the choice of food is delicious and served by friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommended when visiting Tavistock.

Had a goats cheese panini and a mocha absolutely lovely best panini i've had in a longtime and the coffee was very tasty. Service was brilliant very pleasant staff and quick

Lovely and quick drink & food. Ordered the deluxe hot chocolate with whipped cream and flake, ranch burger and duke burger.

Just had the Nachos served with Dukes Chilli, in my opinion the best tasting chilli I’ve ever had. 😍

Nice, informal. Good coffee. Friendly staff, nice location for a quick bite.

Visited here Friday 12th sat outside had blankets very cosy. Coffe and tea cake my wife had tea and vegan coffee cake.

Lovely staff and a perfect place for people watching whilst enjoying a sandwich and a hot chocolate!

Really quick service and lovely food, perhaps a dressing on the side salad could be added to enhance the plate but overall was great food.

Will return when I next visit Tavistock.

What a great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. I can highly recommend the Devon cream tea.

Brilliant cafe, the food was very tasty and the service was great!
We had the goats cheese paninni and jacket potato, can recommend both! Plenty of choice and food was served till 3.30pm, so ideal for a late lunch!

Visited two days running. Can't praise this place enough. Extremely busy both days but the staff were amazing, friendly and efficient and we received our food and drinks in a timely fashion. And the food was exceptional.

Nice place for a lite bite. Had the Duke burger with Stilton cheese with nachos and salad. Meat for burgers locally sourced and taste great. Staff are polite and friendly.

I always enjoy the breakfast roll with an Americano here. Today was as good as all previous visits.

I really liked this place. They had a selection of either white or brown baguette. We were alo asked which one we want served first. Definitely recommend it.

Good value for money, large portion when having the jacket spud. Also welcome dogs

Great place to eat and with seating areas outside by the Pannier Market. Table service provided by friendly staff and food was delicious. Sit, have a drink with something to eat and watch the world go by.

A very tasty bowl of home made soup on a blustery wet summer's day was exactly what was needed. What a great little cafe - definitely worth a return visit to try some of the other menu items

We had a lunchtime delivery, the food was delicious and I found it great value for money. The driver was really chatty and helpful. I wasn’t aware they delivered but am so glad we noticed it on the website. Will definitely use again.

Great place to eat in Tavistock. Good food and reasonably priced. Staff friendly and efficient. Gets very busy at peak times, so may be a wait to get a table.
