My friend and I came here for an afternoon treat and we loved it! Staff were really welcoming and incredibly kind. Inside, the cafe is super cosy and has a lot of seats. We shared a scone with jam and clotted cream and we were both really impressed by the scone! We even wished we had taken one each. Definitely would recommend!

Consistently great quality food and friendly staff. It feels like the food is made with love, there’s always a bit of homemade chutney and a lovely dressing on the salad that comes with your sandwich and the scones are great too (and don’t make your tongue go funny because of all the bicarb!). In the summer you can sit outside under the fig tree surrounded by the typical cotswold stone buildings and in winter they have a cosy fire going. Bonus point that you can bring your well behaved dog inside.

The afternoon tea is really good..lot of choices on cakes.
The scones are a must have!

(Ps, I went there only to have the afternoon tea, that's why I didn't give stars about the rooms :) )

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at The Bantam Tea Rooms! Room number 5 was so cool! We felt right at home and had an amazing night. Breakfast was incredible and staff was so friendly.

Had a lovely visit to the Bantam last week with friends, great service with friendly and welcoming staff, cosy decor and food quality is superb - especially the brie and bacon bagel and ginger cake! Love that you can also buy their homemade jams and marmalade which make great gifts. Best tearooms I’ve been to!

Visited the tea rooms on a busy Sunday and even though they were incredibly busy with full tables and a queue out the door, I was well looked after and my breakfast was lovely- could tell it was cooked fresh and not just reheated, so I was happy to wait a little longer!

All the staff were very friendly and welcoming and I will be sure to visit again to try some more of the delicious home made cakes:)

Popped in here for a little bite to eat and a drink. Quite possibly the best hot chocolate I’ve ever tasted. We shared a tuna sandwich as we wanted something light. Very nice. Service was great. Nice and cosy, welcoming and clean. Would definitely go back if in the area again.

A charming and historical spot in the high street.
We had the sweet scone and the cheese one. They were lovely and the coffee was good.
FYI, there's an outdoor area at the back, very nice if it's sunny

We recently visited the Cotswolds and after seeing lots of amazing reviews we decided to visit Bantam tea rooms. I had the mini breakfast and my boyfriend had the soup with a cheese scone. We were both very impressed with our food. The only thing we thought was the younger staff members could have been a little bit more hospitable. Maybe they were new and learning! We would definitely return and try the afternoon tea next time.

We made the spontaneous decision to spend Valentine’s away this year, and were fortunate to find room to stay at the Bantam Tea Rooms. The BnB sits above a very quaint tea room which is lovely and bustling in the day filled with happy customers. For BnB guests, there is a brilliant range of breakfast offered (on the house) which we made full advantage of.

Upon arrival, we were very happy to discover we had been upgraded to the best room in the house, free of charge. The room was situated on its own private floor which felt very far-removed and tranquil. Lovely view of the high street (can be a tad noisy at night, so bring ear plugs!). Bathroom was absolutely spotless and had clearly just been renovated. Lovely big bath and waterfall shower. Great to come back to the room after a long hike and have a luxurious bath!

Good amenities such as a desk and TV. Would’ve been nice to have a hairdryer in the room, but not major. Just make sure to pack your own!

All in all, the room was stunning, private and spotless. The Bantam Tea Rooms offers a lovely place to rest your head, for a brilliant price. And, a great breakfast come morning! We will definitely be coming back.

Came for a cream tea and it did not disappoint. The scones were fresh, and the tea was strong. There’s an option to add a slice of cake but I’d recommend just sticking to the tea and scones. Nothing wrong with the baked goods, just ended up being too much food!

Loved my visit with my son and 2 grandchildren on a Sunday morning.
The children enjoyed a fully loaded hot chocolate drink each. My son and I had the latte. I enjoyed their soup of the day with a warm cheese scone. Honestly absolutely delicious.
Nice little garden with seating to dine to the rear.
Lovely tearoom with cosy interior. Plenty of seating of various kinds. I'd highly recommend and would love to return.
I didn't stay in the premises so can't comment on their rooms.

This is my favourite tea shop in Chipping Campden. They welcome walkers and don't close ridiculously early, just when you want a cup of tea after a walk. Great selection of homemade cakes.

Beautiful tea rooms doing a great lunch menu. Very doggy friendly. We were told we could sit anywhere we wanted with Labrador Poppy. They do have a great outside patio garden out the back as well if you don't want to sit in. Lovely friendly staff, best service we have had in our many travels around the country. Well done

Stopped here while wandering around Chipping Camden. Warm welcome and great service. Chose our cakes from the selection available in the window. Coffee and treacle tart were delicious. Allergies dealt with efficiently which you tend to get with smaller independent businesses 🎉🎉. Would recommend

Called in for breakfast before starting a walk. The bacon and sausage sandwich was served on fresh thickly sliced bread. A good coffee served here. Good quality ingredients are used, this is reflected in the price. Breakfast was much enjoyed!

Amazing tea, coffee, and breakfast.

We popped into Chipping Campden the morning of my Birthday and couldn’t have found a better place for breakfast.

We both got a mini full English with drinks and it was very well priced for the quality of the food. Service was also fantastic, as was the entire atmosphere of the tea room.

We got some cakes to go as we wanted to have a walk around the village before our parking was up. The Victoria Sponge was fantastic!

100% would visit again if I’m ever in the Cotswolds again.
