Opened in 2007 with the help of fundraising and lottery money

Run by the BCA (Blockley Co-operative Association) which manages and maintains the building (including the cafe portion of the building)

This building (shop and cafe) is the heart of the village and buzzes all day with comings and goings of the residents and visitors

Opposite the shop is ‘Paxton House’ where Patton & Eisenhower drew up plans for the Normandy Invasion

A great selection of items, from food to local beautiful greeting cards, to the latest issue of the village magazine "The Voice."

Simply delicious. No fuss food superbly cooked and elegantly presented. A small menu but with something for everyone. Any intolerances or foibles and Craig will be sure to accomodate you. First time for me but friends and family have dined here on numerous occasions. Will come back when in the area.

What a lovely shop in a quaint Cotswold village, which I am reliably informed is the seting for a BBC show called Father Brown. We stopped off to see the church on route to another appointment and nipped into the shop to collect a couple of sandwiches.

Lovely friendly staff, ready to share a joke, plenty of supplies and at very reasonable cost.. be warned there's not a lot of parking nearby, we were lucky as in the churchyard there are a couple of disabled spaces.

Visiting our friend who lives in the village, we came here again for coffee and cake. Service is very friendly. We had their cruffins and they were so nice! Coffee good too. On leaving I didn’t think £16 was quite expensive for 2 cakes and 2 coffees but I’m assuming that must have included service. But was very happy with everything so I’d still give it 5*. I believe they also do food in the evenings and locals are very happy with the food.

Always a warm welcome in one of my favourite villages.

A fantastic community cafe and shop in such a lovely quaint Cotswold village! Very surprising to find in such a small place.
Had a very good pot of tea and great cappuccino.
Also saw that there is a menu for plated meals both breakfast and lunch.

It is a lovely shop and cafe. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The shop has a lot of local produce a very competitive prices. The cafe prepares lovely food and again staff are very friendly. Blockley is a beautiful cotswold village and the church of St Peter and St Paul or also known as St Mary's in the wonderful series of Father Brown is a beautiful church. I would highly recommend a visit to this lovely village.

If you don't know it you don't think it's such a good place! High quality food served with very good recipes and style. If you are in the area you aslutely have to go and have at least breakfast there. We had a full English, a French toast, a salmon and scrumbled egg and an avocado and sourdough and they were all amazing. Staff is very kind too. A hidden gem!

Second visit to the Cafe. Friendly service and delicious food inside or outside.

Second visit to Blockley. The cafe is very pleasant along with the picturesque village. Place for the filming of BBC'S Father Brown in case you didn't know. We had a set breakfast from the menu which was delicious and very large. Eggs were especially nice, they were poached and very tasty. The young lady who served us was very pleasant and helpful. Get there early as parking can be a challenge and the cafe very popular.

Good alternative to the often booked out village pub. We went there for lunch on a day hike. My Dahl and Salad were very tasty and the staff was very friendly too. The adjacent shop is useful for buying snacks for a hike.

An absolute gem. Craig and his team set a standard for customer service that many more established restaurants could learn a lot from. Food is outstanding, Friday night dining has to be experienced to be believed. Makes a great contribution to the community and one of the main reasons we keep returning to Blockley.

the food was amazing! we travel from Coventry and it's totally worth it! the staff are lovely and the value for money just won't be beaten! a real hidden gem!

Had absolutely delicious avocado on toast with perfectly poached eggs. We were on a bike ride and didn't know this cafe existed. Very pleasant surprise.

Are for the 7th or 8th time at Blockley Cafe tonight - what a phenomenal chef works here! Food to simply die for - exquisitely cooked, served by welcoming and friendly staff - you can't get a table without booking, you shouldn't deprive yourself of the experience so make a reservation. Outstanding.
