Mickleton Hills Farm Wedding Venue

We held our daughter’s wedding reception at Mickleton Hills Farm last Saturday and it was truly magical. Set in glorious Cotswold countryside, we were blessed with lovely weather which added to the perfection of it all. Special mention to David and his team who run a very slick operation in the background. David has the gift of being unfailingly polite and also coping with any challenge or request. Our family and friends had a fantastic time, not least the bride & groom!

We had our Indian British fusion wedding at Mickleton Hills Farm on 27/07/24. David and his team were incredible throughout the process; always available to help and support us with decisions. David was very professional and organised on the day, making sure everything was dealt with (including delays on our part). We cannot thank David enough or put into words how grateful we are. David went above and beyond on so many occasions, our day wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was without David and his team. It’s goes without saying that the venue is absolutely stunning and feels much more special given you have it to yourself for four days. We highly recommend having your special day here like we did.

We cannot thank you enough for our amazing wedding last weekend! Mickleton hills farm is absolutely stunning, from the ceremony barn to the bridal getting ready room every space is immaculate and beautiful. David has a relaxed but organised approach, bar friendly prices and openness to ideas that made it a perfect choice.

It is genuinely the staff, especially David, his team and recommended suppliers that make this venue what it is! From the quick email responses, to the 2 set up days where the team are on hand as much as you need them, to the hour run through the day before the wedding where David ensures he knows exactly how you want the day to run. Then using an earpiece and microphone to deliver on the day and make you feel like royalty. The team make you feel so relaxed and happy going into the big day.

Our wedding day ran so smoothly and perfectly and we were just able to sit back and enjoy every single moment knowing everything was in hand. The whole team are so friendly, warm and kind and we’re always checking in to make sure we had everything we required. So many of our bridal and grooms party also commented on how lovely the team were to them all & how amazing this venue is! The bonus was also David having cleaned and cleared the barns by 10am of anything we wanted to leave meant we could leave relaxed for our honeymoon.

There are not enough thanks yous we could ever say to Mickleton! You gave us the most amazing 3 days and we wouldn’t have changed a single thing! Thank you again & again.

All I can say about Mickleton Hills Farm is that I wish I could shoot every single one of my weddings here! It's a beautiful venue, finished to an inpeccible standard, with welcoming staff and everything you could possibly want or need on site. David runs Mickleton Hills down to the finest possible detail and he made the day run more smoothly than I had ever seen a wedding run prior. He was kind, supportive, welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed as a photographer. I had never felt so at ease and in excellent hands when working at a venue. When it came to golden hour, David made sure I knew exactly where the sun would be setting and even let us use his incredible garden, which was filled to the brim with bright pink tulips. I was overwhelmed by this wonderful venue and hope to return very soon!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Mickleton Hills Farm. The whole experience from beginning to end was unforgettable. From Sammy’s genuine enthusiasm when she first showed us around the venue, which is clearly a passion project for her and her husband David, to their patience answering our endless stream of questions, putting us right at ease knowing we were in the best hands for our special day.

On the day itself, both David and Sammy and the whole Mickleton team were incredible, willing to help us at any moment such as Sammy being on hand with baby wipes to help me get some marks out of my veil. And even pre-empting what we needed, with David having a glass of bubbles ready for us as soon as we finished taking photos. The biggest praise we have to give the whole team is making our wacky Strictly Surprise idea a reality. From helping us get the projector and screen set up, getting our props ready and having a dress rehearsal with us the day before to ensure everyone knew exactly what they were doing when. It was a full production experience and it went off without a hitch thanks to them! It couldn't have gone any better and our party went wild, all completely taken by surprise and so many commented how professional it all was.

If you are a looking at different wedding venues for your big day, we can’t rave about Mickleton enough. They are such an incredible team who go above and beyond to make your wedding dream a reality!

This wedding venue was everything my son and his now wife wanted for their dream wedding. I cannot emphasise how well thought out the whole venue is for a perfect wedding. David and his team are the most professional, helpful people you ever want to meet. They ensured everything ran smoothly and efficiently from start to finish. The cottages for family were clean well equipped and ideally placed. Thank you very much David for all your hard work, from the Taylor family.

I've photographed at Mickleton Hills Farm a few times now and I can only say amazing things about it. The owners are so lovely and welcoming, they are constantly on hand and work so hard.

The barn has amazing dramatic light from the doors either side and the wedding breakfast rooms is very large.

Can't wait to shoot here again!

Our wedding at Mickleton Hills Farm really was the perfect day we'd dreamt it to be! Everything was exactly as we'd imagined it!

David, you and your whole family were incredibly lovely and welcoming every time we met, from the first day we came to visit your venue, through the entire wedding weekend.

David absolutely ruled our whole event, there are not enough words to thank him (I tried to express this countless times throughout the day, apologies David!).

He was there to solve every problem and calm every nerve. Making sure every guest was cared for impeccably.

Every single vendor told us over the weekend how much they wished every venue acted as efficiently, professionally and thought of every little detail, making everything so smooth. You genuinely made everything flow flawlessy and thought of everything 10 steps ahead of everyone else allowing us all to sit back and relax. Every one of your staff was on top of everything and were a delight to speak to.

Thank you so much from the bottom of hearts, it really was the best day of our lives.

David and his team were incredible in both preparation, and on the day. The attention to detail was faultless and the tips that David suggested at the planning stage, helped us to make the very most of our day. The venue is immaculate and simply stunning as well as being set in the most gorgeous location. We had a truly wonderful day, safe in the knowledge that things were being managed so competently in the background while we could get on with enjoying ourselves. The fact that we were able to stay on site from the Thursday to the Sunday made all the difference in helping us to feel prepared and grounded. So many of our guests commented on the professionalism of the team and the beauty of the venue, also. We will always remember Mickleton hills farm and the team with great affection and can't recommend them highly enough.

Where do we start!

Just incredible. The most perfect place to get married. The owners David and Sammy are brilliant and nothing is too much for them.

After falling in love with the venue and booking it for August 2023 just under 2 years ago, we visited the venue 4-5 times prior to our special day. They hosted a wine tasting evening a few months before, and also kindly allowed us to have a meeting with our caterers at the venue to go through the final touches. The venue holds '3 day' weddings which allows you to get on site on the Thursday and have everything in place and ready by mid afternoon on the Friday. It enables you to enjoy the Friday night without any concerns over the venue not being ready!!

The day itself ran even better than we could ever have imagined. David was ever present and was liaising with suppliers on our behalf throughout the day to ensure everything was on time and people know where they needed to be. The bar was well stocked and speed of service was good. There was great flexibility shown allowing to make our own personal touches throughout the day. Although the venue does not need much doing to it as it is beautiful even as a blank canvas!!

All in all we cannot reccommend the venue enough and were so pleased it was where we chose to get married.

Where do I start! From start to finish, the whole team at Mickleton have been an absolute dream to work with. The venue itself is stunning - exactly what you'd look for in a quintessential Cotswolds wedding. There's no detail they haven't thought about to ensure your day will run seamlessly. The owners are also so accommodating in making the day exact how you want it. We even had our ceremony in the walled garden, which they'd never done before! That was no small feat given the weather this summer. The support you'll get from the team there is beyond expectation - we had so many comments on how well the day flowed and how well everything was all managed. We have the deepest gratitude for all of the team at Mickleton, especially Sammy & David, for giving us the wedding of our absolute dreams. In short - we couldn't recommend them enough as a venue.

The best venue and team ever!

We cannot begin to express how grateful we are to David, Sammy and the team for creating such a perfect wedding for us. From viewing the venue to the actual day itself, we've loved every moment of planning and bringing our wedding to life with everyone.

All of our guests complimented the venue, the team and how smoothly everything ran on the day. David you were incredible in helping me and my sister in those days running up to the wedding and went above and beyond to make everyone feel organised and excited for the big day once they arrived. I know it’s hard for anyone to say that they had anything less than an amazing time at their wedding… but we really did have a fabulous time at Mickleton Hills!
The team (headed by David and Sammy) were incredible and we could not have asked for more. We were able to completely relax on the day safe in the knowledge that it was all being handled seamlessly. They were so friendly and supportive throughout the process!
The venue itself is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for - it was a lovely mix of feeling both personal and grand. We used all the spaces on site (including the cottages which are lovely!)
As with any true English wedding it rained a little on the day but the venue has so many options to cater for this and it didn’t dampen down the day at all!

An incredible venue to get married in. Complete with a beautiful new bridal suite, stunning barns, lovely courtyard and amazing photography spots.

David couldn’t have been better - he managed our suppliers brilliantly and co ordinated our day perfectly. The communication with David and Sammy was brilliant from the start. They both added so much to our special day.

I’ve recently worked at Mickleton Hills Farm as a supplier (wedding videographer) and wanted to take the opportunity to praise the team working at the venue. Having worked at venues throughout the country, Mickleton Hills was up there with the best of them. All staff were helpful and accommodating on the day and David was brilliant in helping organise and assist throughout the day.

They also had the best sound/pa system for the reception room I’ve ever come across!! As a videographer, needing great audio for moments like the speeches is so important and the audio coming from the system was extremely clean with no feedback.

In short, great venue, lovely location, great staff and an all round a pleasure to work at. I Would highly recommend this venue to couples looking for a venue for their day!

Words to describe love, happy experience, memories, fun, friendship - well this is where you make it happen. Exquisite venue on a farm, private, spacious and the owner is your guide for anything you might have missed, and this owner, David is his name, is in attendance before, during and after the event.
Now those might be the words most people use to describe their experience - let's take it further.
Integrated lighting systems
Best sound system with speakers out of sight and different volumes in the different function areas - blue tooth and wireless controlled.
Huge space for dancing and dining and break away areas - outside areas to catch your breath.
Very secure and close parking - not even 100 steps and you are sitting staring at the fantastic wooden beams that hold these buildings altogether. Thank you David for making my son and daughter-in-law so happy with a day that they - AND CERTAINLY ALL THE GUESTS - will never forget. I really felt sorry for absent friends and family that could not attend - they missed a moment in history that this venue provided.

Wow what an amazing venue!! We finally got married at our dream venue on 04.09.2021 after 2 postponements due to the pandemic. From the first postponement to the actual day Sammy and David were so welcoming and professional the whole way along, keeping us up to date and informed. It was so lovely to see how invested the venue were in making our day exactly how we imagined it and they were so flexible with everything we’d asked for. We went to see over 10 venues, before visiting Mickleton Hills and it’s fair to say we fell in love with this venue not just because of the venue, but also the way the venue is run by Sammy and David, who are so welcoming and made our day feel special with only 1 wedding a week. We had so many comments from people who said it felt very relaxed which is exactly how we wanted our day! I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Jordan and Darren (04.09.21) x

We got married here in September 2023 and it was just the most incredible venue with the most amazing staff!

We had the most magical day which ran completely seamlessly and stress free. The way the team all work together and run the day is just incredible and we’re so glad we chose to have our wedding at Mickleton Hills Farm.

The whole experience was amazing, with the drinks tasting and set up days too. We felt like our wedding started on the Thursday as we were able to spend so much time at the venue, so loved being able to do that and not feeling like we’re being rushed out for the next couple.

The getting ready room is incredible too, which my bridesmaids and I were able to access at 6am for our hair and makeup which a lot of venues wouldn’t have let us done so early.

David + Sammy let us make it our own, and we’re so happy with how it all turned out, and had the most magical day!

We can't recommend this enough as a wedding venue, the whole team go out of their way to help as much as you need, and we were even able to have our dog as our ring bearer ♥

We had a fantastic day here in July for our wedding. The venue is stunning, David and Sammy were so helpful with setup prior to the day, and then on the day itself making sure everything ran smoothly. Cannot recommend them and the venue highly enough.
