Beautiful and well-kept place! We spent our weekend visiting Cotswold and the position was amazing to see all the main villages. Nice breakfast and very good dinner. Amazing pool ,they should just place some deckchairs. People were very kind and welcoming! Definitely suggested!

Had a two night stay courtesy of family for our combined birthday. Fabulous location. Room was very comfortable. Food and wine were also very good. Staff were friendly, helpful and quite chatty!
This is a quality hotel but the restaurant prices were very reasonable.

Had a beautiful afternoon tea here this afternoon for a baby shower for my daughter, the hotel staff were very friendly and happy to accommodate us. And also happy to change some things on the menu to our tastes. The food was amazing and plenty of it. What a lovely time we all had 😊

Stopped off for afternoon tea. Fortunately the weather was lovely and we were invited to sit outside where we took advantage of the wonderful views across the landscaped grounds. Really nice s egg selection of sandwiches and savouries followed by excellent cream & jam scones. Coffee was really good too. Very friendly staff…all in all a lovely afternoon.

You shared with us that there were some works going on.
However it only meant we used the fantastic function room as the restaurant with stunning views.

Absolutely delicious afternoon tea, every item was well-prepared and very tasty. The service was excellent and the surroundings were beautiful. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

We booked a dinner, bed and breakfast getaway on Secret Escapes and what an absolute delight it was. We arrived about 5pm, struggling to find where to park in the dark. There’s obviously some building work going on as we couldn’t see the entrance, however once we finally got inside after bumbling around and falling into shrubbery like a couple of very unskilled burglars, we were warmly welcomed and showed to our room which was really nice and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was a bit dated and needed some repair work (cracked tiles, flaking paint etc) but was very clean. We had a hot tub room but it was a bit chilly to try that out!

Dinner was in the Orangery, which sadly isn’t in the main Manor House… In fact, I’m not sure we were actually in the main part of the Manor House at all during our stay. However, the food was absolutely incredible with great vegetarian options (I’m going to dream about the butternut and goats cheese wellington omg) and beautifully presented, and service was warm and friendly. The only disappointment was that we didn’t get to nose around that gorgeous Manor House at all. We’ll definitely be booking to go back once the refurbishment is complete. The grounds are stunning and it’s so peaceful and lovely - there’s even a gorgeous indoor pool. Highly recommended 💯

We visited the hotel last week for a two night break with dinner, bed and breakfast. Loved our deluxe room which was very spacious and had a lovely roll top bath. Evening meals were excellent quality - I'm a foodie and couldn't find fault with any of it. All the staff were very helpful and cheerful, would recommend - good value for money we felt. Location with great near to lots of the pretty villages.

Spent our birthday/Easter weekend here, excellent food, service, people, room and general ambience. Great views from the dining room. Will return.

My clubs Christmas lunch with ladies. No one stayed overnight. Had the Orangery to our group of 40. Excellent service. Greeted well by friendly, efficient staff. Very nicely served Christmas lunch of three courses plus drinks, mince pies and chocolates along with coffee and tea.

Nice choice of food for each course. Well presented and tasty.

I loved my little get away earlier this month for a one night stay.
It’s a beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting, lovely friendly staff, amazing food and very comfortable beds. The photos that I have shared with my review show what a wonderful time I had.

Really nice hotel, that feels cosy yet very vast with different buildings and lots of grounds. A lot of charm, and love the character features everywhere in the place!

Great intimate atmosphere, but also great presence from staff ensuring you are looked after. Excellent food at the restaurant, and the staff took the time to do an alcohol free cocktail when requested, which wasn't on the menu.

The best thing was most likely our room. The bedding and bathroom products are lovely too. All in all nothing to fault at all! Would love to come back, and had a great experience for our first wedding anniversary. Thanks to the staff for indeed giving us a room in the old lodge, and the lovely card in the bedroom.

Great weekend, pool was really warm and clean . Staff were very attentive, both the bar/ waiter staff Dan and Chris were excellent. Food was really superb.

Beautiful setting,great staff amazing food. Personally I would book a quiet room and we were moved when we thought it was noisy with no issues.I would definitely go back again with no hesitation.

An outdoor sharing lunch selected and booked two days in advance was delicious. I wish I'd taken a photo! Smoked salmon, trout and mackerel along with whitebait, salad and assorted breads was more than I could manage, thank goodness my friend has a larger appetite than I. Relaxed and friendly environment and staff, beautiful surroundings, value for money.

We first visited Charingworth Manor in 2018 and after later getting engaged there in 2020, we decided it was only right to get married at this beautiful Cotswolds hotel. We got married at Charingworth Manor in July 2022 and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We truly could not have wished for a better day and it was all thanks to the absolutely amazing team there.

The day was perfectly organised by Magda (events coordinator) who is just fantastic and made us feel so welcome from the first time we met until the wedding day itself - her communication, reassurance and advice during the whole process made planning our wedding easy and fun.

All of the staff worked tirelessly to ensure our day was exactly how we wanted it and went above and beyond in every possible way. In particular, Dan didn’t stop for one second all day and was absolutely unbelievable - everyone commented on how amazing he was. Everyone needs a Dan at their wedding - it wouldn’t have been the same without him!

So many of our guests told us that the food was the best wedding breakfast they’d ever had (beef wellington for main) and we were so impressed with the efficiency of the table and bar service. The rooms were turned around quickly and looked stunning.

The day went without a single hitch and we wish we could do it all again tomorrow! Thank you so much to Anna, Magda, Dan and all of the wonderful team at Charingworth Manor for making our wedding day so special. We can’t wait to return very soon!

If you’re thinking of getting married here… do it! You will not be disappointed!

Lovely 3 night break. Had a great room with a hot tub in the garden. Service was spot on and the location is in the heart of the country side. Definitely go back.

Superb weekend stay! The staff are the friendliest you could find anywhere. Room was excellent, cleaning was done to a high standard, facilities are top notch. The food was excellent, the hot tub was on another level! Beautiful historic place to stay and well worth the money. The health and safety was very detailed around the hotel and you can see how much care and attention is put into the hotel through all the little details. These people really care about their customers. Having travelled and stayed a lot around the cotswolds this has to be one of the best establishments we have stayed in.
