Fullers Bakery Totnes

After looking up and down the town for Cornish pasty’s we landed at Fullers Bakery.
The wide selection and claim for awards drew us in!

A wide selection of pastries, the pasty’s are the main draw. But, be quick. The selection was bare and we ended up with only the classic medium Cornish Steak pasty (just what we were after). There is also a large selection of, pretty much only, flapjacks and they looked delicious - actually regretting the fact I didn’t get one!

The cafe was busy and the queue was getting longer and longer out the door while I waited.

Overall: Pasty was excellent and hot. They must pump them out the oven non stop. Delicious.

Alternatives: They seem to do vegetarian and vegan pasty’s also. Range of coffee and teas. Sandwiches, Wraps, Baguette’s, Soups and Jacket Potatoes.
Note: Takeaway is cheaper than sitting in.

A lovely cafe with a bubbly, yet chilled atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and the food is good...well presented and a good range for all tastes including GF, veggie and vegan. Been here a few times and will definitely return.

The pasties here are really tasty. They are perfect temperature for eating and not too hot like at some places. The flapjacks are delicious and taste home made and are nice and sticky.

Lovely find. Toasted teacake was great as was the coffee. My husband had an iced caramel latte which he said was full of flavour. Very friendly staff and the cafe was nice. Very reasonably priced.

Previously named The Ole Bakery it has had a refurbishment and is lovely & cosy inside. Perfect for having some lunch after a walk or getting away from the wet weather. I support a girl with Autism, she loves it here & feels it is calm enough for her to enjoy her lunch. Eat here on a regular basis. Accessible disabled toilet at the back.

Lovely bakery dine in or takeaway. Fresh bread , various flavour pasties, various cakes.
Jacket potatoes with various fillings, paninis and wraps. Bacon, sausage rolls, bagette or sandwiches, salads, chilli with tortilla chips..
Soup with bread roll..Hot beverages.
Lovely cafe great atmosphere..Toilets..
The food was delicious..I highly recommend this place.

Nice and warm, plenty of options to choose from and all very reasonably priced for the area. Sausages, scones and cakes are all top quality.

Had the pleasure of going in here today, I ordered gluten free toast and marmalade and a cup of tea, The bread was sooo nice I ordered seconds, the staff are very helpful and couldn't do enough 😀, would definitely recommend fullers !!!

Friendly and welcoming staff. Very tasty and well presented food. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. A perfect place for a relaxed lunch.

What a gem of a place, great service, delicious food

I always come here for my vegan sausage rolls (probably too often haha) which may I say are the best I’ve ever tasted, including any meat ones I’ve had before I was vegan. Today they didn’t have any vegan sausage rolls so I opted for a “chicken” pasty and it did not disappoint. They also have 2 other vegan pasty options (red Thai and a veg one) and great vegan cake options so you’re really never missing out. Not to mention how lovely and bright the girls are every time I go in there.

Large Cornish Pasty got a big thumbs up. Friendly staff, food and drinks very good. Would visit again.

I had lovely fluffy jacket potato with prawns and hubby had bacon and sausage baguette delicious

Friendly helpful staff and a wide range of savoury and sweet goods to enjoy. The viennese finger that I tried was heavenly...not too much chocolate...and it just melted in my mouth. Would highly recommend a visit here. 👌

5* all the way……staff were superb and nothing was too much trouble…..nice atmosphere, varied menu , delicious food well presented and lovely coffee…..prices good too would definitely visit again…..

2nd time of getting the lamb and mint pasties. They are to die for. I have never liked pasties but these are just something else. My partner got one a few weeks ago and told me to take a bite and wow it was delicious. So now we purposely drove a 20 minute car journey just to get us a lamb and mint pasty each! Beautiful 😍

Really yummy coffee nice choice of sizes and cakes and treats. We enjoyed our Americanos, tiffin and croissant very much. Nice clean loos too. Lovely place for coffee

Very lovely place to eat, with an excellent gluten free bread and cake option, perfect place to stop and eat after a great day walking around Totnes

Absolutely lovely little cafe, that has fantastic staff. I had a lovely cup of tea and when I suggested as a celiac to put the gluten free cake on the top shelf to decrease contamination of the other gluten cakes crumbs from falling on the delicious looking gf cake, she was very open to the idea as they already use a separate gf knife to cut the cake. This is very welcoming for a celiac and always makes us feel more comfortable.
