Conker Shoes

I bought a pair of Chelsea Boots in the Mr. Toad leather. I paid extra for the custom fit and is was worth every penny! The boots are absolutely perfect. The color is gorgeous, the Mr Toad leather is a lightly brushed finish. I added a light layer of wax which I like but may not be for everyone. I was nervous about the fit but it is spot on. And the construction quality is exceptional. If I could give more stars I would. Two pictures are indoors, but the third picture is outside to capture the color.

They fit great, feel incredible on my feet and look very sharp. I'm loving the zero rise, minimal sole - the flexibility and ground feel is perfect.
I love the Hunter Mahogany leather as well, it's darkening up nicely with regular beeswax/lanolin treatment. So, again, thank you for producing the best shoes I have ever owned, you've got a Conker customer for life who has been and will definitely recommend you highly!!

The Conkers crew are absolute artisans! I've been searching tirelessly for the perfect Chelsea boots forever. My criteria were admittedly stringent but Conkers exceeds all of them. I opted for the barefoot tire soles for a zero-drop, barefoot experience. They are quite thick for a typical barefoot sole but definitely meet zero-drop. The leather used is not too stiff, even for the first wear. I have very high-volume feet and not the daintiest ankles. The boots do not hug too tightly at any point on my foot. I can even get a good toe spread without having to move to a wide width. Not only are the boots pure art - the customer service is absolutely phenomenal! I received an email before the boots were made confirming my sizes and requirements on the boots. I did not request any customization but they did notice I'm located in the US and wanted to verify my sizes. Also, my shipping label got damaged during transit and the Conkers customer service was very diligent about making sure I was updated as real-time as possible. I look forward to a lifelong Conkers experience in my forever boots!

Absolutely love my collection always a joy to get new Conkers . Beautifully made a dream to wear I have fallen arches and have insoles which work really well . Next pair to be ordered for my sons wedding

Have just received my second pair of shoes from Conker-Tbar sandals.The adjustments made on my first pair(brogues),were fully incorporated and the fit is absolutely perfect.The leather is beautifully soft too so I think wearing them barefoot will be fine.Highly recommend Conkers!

I have a new pair of Classics. Brownie with barefoot tyre soles. I'm a 62 year old U.S. corporate lawyer and have been looking for something I can wear to work. Not easy. Today was Day 1 with my new shoes. They felt great and even drew a few compliments and questions. I suspect I'll be back for another pair. Thanks Conkers.

My second pair of Conker shoes, first pair are two years old and look like new despite wearing them through two summers, this latest pair fit like a dream ( as do my first pair ) and I'm sure they will be perfect as winter shoes, thanks again for providing shoes that are well worth the money.

Got my shoes today and I love them. They're so comfortable on my feet. Got a red t-bar with cream stitching, thick sole and brass buckles. The red looks a bit more like an orangey/tangerine colour but it's still nice. I got the average width size (not extra wide).

When I unpacked them at first glance they looked too big. I thought I'd made a mistake and should've gone a size smaller. Also the leather is so soft I wondered if they could stand up to the constant wear I'm gonna put them through. But when I tried them on the fit was so comfortable and looked great.

I used to have a pair of leather shoes made of natural, recyclable materials. I wore them throughout many hot summers right through to autumn, and they kept my feet so cool. When they wore out I couldn't find anyone who'd repair them, so I spent many years searching for a similar pair of shoes and I've finally found it in these. They're very well made and of excellent quality too.

I saved up long and hard for these man, so it's nice to get items I was expecting, and the company were nice people to do business with. To me these shoes are worth every penny. I'm gonna wear 'em out and hopefully have 'em for life because they can be repaired.

I had the most amazing pair of bespoke shoes, from Conker Shoe Company, quite a few years ago. If I have one regret in my life, it's throwing them away, during a 'clear out', as I haven't found a pair to match, anywhere near their standard since. From start to finish, the customer service I received, was excellent, and the boots were amazing, lasted several years, before I regretfully chucked them out. As I don't live anywhere near Totnes, it was all done through the post, and I'm hoping to buy another pair, in the near future, which will probably last for the rest of my life. As I have unusal shaped feet, it's especially important that I get the right fitting, and being able to choose the colours, and style as well, was just the icing on the cake.

A shoe that should appeal to purists/minimalists. Leather upper stitched to single piece of leather midsole, glued to zero-drop rubber outsole. Breathable. Great with or without socks. Traction is great (I have the tyre tread outsole). Should hold up to urban lifestyle just fine, but may not last as long I'd hoped for on trails and such. Time will tell. All told, a beautiful shoe!

I ordered some Chelsea boots recently and they are truely beautiful and so comfortable. The craftsmanship and quality of the leather is outstanding and I know I'm going to have many years of enjoyment from them. I have three other pairs of their shoes and have been impressed with the range of colours available, sole choices and customer service each time and will be buying more in the future.

Oh my! I have just received my customised barefoot boots and they are amazing!
I cannot rate this shop enough. From the minute I phoned, their customer service was fantastic. I was sent samples of the leather I was interested in, I was able to customise my boots down to the stitching and they were fitted to my exact foot size.
I will definitely be buying from them again!

I’ve just received an incredible pair of pastel bespoke boots from Conker. They are beautifully crafted and make me smile! I took quite a while choosing the different colours as I’m pretty indecisive but the communication was brilliant and they posted samples for me to choose from. Fantastic new shoes, lovely red ankle boots. Very comfortable to walk in. Ordering process was very easy with so much choice from colour of the leather, to the colour of the laces and stitching. And so many soles to choose from. Delivery was on time. A plus from me was that they could be made in my size, rather large. Might buy another pair in a different colour for the winter.

I've been visiting Conkers on an off for 30 plus years ... 6 years ago I rekindled my love and now have just ordered some bespoke derby boots. I have custom orthotics I need to fit into the boot and I was able to try, check fit and choose exactly what I needed with the guidance of the super staff! Can't wait to pick them up soon! I can't rate Conkers highly enough .... And having moved from Devon to Cornwall I make the journey as they are simply the best shoe makers in the South West ... Worth every penny!!

I had my conker shoes made to fit me after operations on one foot i have odd feet! They are brilliant i could not cope without them. I have three pairs now and they still all look like new.
We husband now has a pair and he loves them as much as me.

I ordered Conker boots from the US hoping for cool looking boots that were also comfortable. Nailed it! Strange to not have to break in a pair of shoes for months and sometimes never to end up with a pair of comfortable shoes, THANK YOU
