Excellent place to visit and plenty to see, nice surrounding and wasn't too crowed. Definitely worth popping in. Quite a walk (about 60 acres all in all) but plenty of benches to stop for a rest. Excellent cafe albeit a tad expensive. Great garden centre on site will plenty to see and buy.

Lovely place to spend an hour or two. There are some great views over the sloping hills of the Cotswolds. We had a perfect day to visit - sunny and dry. There are some hilly paths, but if you take it slow, nothing is too strenuous. An added bonus: the food in their cafe is quite good!

It takes about an hour to get around. Lots of different trees and plants from other countries, bridges, rivers and water falls. Cafe and garden centre on-site with a gift shop. Dogs are very welcome. Lots of parking which is free. £10 with gift aid to get in and the tickets are valid all day, you can leave and return if you wish. Amazing view points throughout the walk of the Cotswolds. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.

WOW !!!! absolutely love this garden centre ! Spotlessly clean in ALL areas , lovely polite staff and with a lovely ( warm ) WELCOMING cafe 👍. What's even better and I've never EVER experienced it before is that 95% of the cafe is welcoming to people with dogs and with the other remaining 5% area dog free 👍. What a refreshing change to be treat like you're normal with a dog 👏👏👏. In comparison we also visited the Stratford garden centre ( not dobbies ) and asked where the dog section was and was told bluntly that it was outside on the patio ! It's was raining , cold and not covered so we left 👎. Batsford garden centre, you rock 👍 we holiday to Stratford every year and you are now going to be our garden centre of choice 👍. Absolutely brilliant and thank you 👏👏👏👏

A real treat to visit this fabulous place. I recommend that if anyone finds the opportunity to visit here to go at anytime over the year as it is beautiful in all seasons.

Beautiful trees at their best. A lovely sunny walk today (November). Also has an excellent garden centre and Coffee shop. Have bought several small trees for the garden which have all been excellent with good prices. Also looking good in June!

It is an absolutely beautiful place to visit.
The cafe inside isn't very vegan friendly, but we were able to have a version of the veggie cooked breakfast.
The arboretum is gorgeous and so peaceful. We got there when it opened and it was much better to walk around then, before it became busy.
We also did archery there. It was so much fun. Run by Cotswold Archery. Absolutely loved it. The couple running it were super friendly and assisted us the whole time to slowly improve.

Gorgeous views. We were lucky to have amazing weather, too.
Plenty of parking and lots of dogs with their human families wandering around together.

It's definitely a place to visit. It's just lovely.

A beautifully quiet calming space and the sound of bird song is a joy.
The tumbling brook is lush and the breadth of trees outstanding with excellent labelling.
A lovey afternoon walk and if the gate is open at the back don’t miss the lovely church.

Beautiful - lots of little paths to explore, so you can walk a little or a lot. Wheelchair accessible path, with other paths not accessible leading off from them. Lots of interesting plants, trees, beautiful hellebores, snow drops, daffs, buds on all the trees waiting to welcome Spring in... Cafe serves delicious fruit scones - crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. Well stocked gift shop and garden centre with really decent prices. Really worth a visit. Dogs are allowed everywhere on a short lead which is brilliant. Everywhere was clean, well priced, staff very pleasant. Will definitely be back in Autumn.

What's not to like about getting out into the fresh air and being sorrounded by beautiful gardens, unless it's a damp February day. Considering it was much busier than I expected. It's not a great time of the year to visit a garden but there is a lot to see, now is the time for the snowdrops and buds. It was a little bit muddy underfoot and we decided to pass on one of the paths but most is accessible especially if you have boots. I was thinking that it would be nice to go every month so you can see the landscape change. There is more to it than just but no plot spoilers from me.
I noticed that they do a yearly pass at around £40 but it's an hour and a half in the car away.
The house looks rather impressive but it's not part of the garden and you can't get too close.
The café is very pleasant and efficient, there's not a comprehensive choice and it's not cheap although that wouldn't come as a surprise.
Dog friendly all over but it's a pity there isn't anywhere that they can get a run off the lead.

Wow what a beautiful place! Very dog friendly but must be on a lead. The gardens are stunning but please be aware lots of climbing in many areas but well worth it. I'm glad I took my hiking sticks to help me up those slopes. Cafe is nice and spacious and again very dog friendly inside and out.
I'm very tired but well worth those walks. Absolutely loved our day out here 😊

Always a pleasure to visit Batsford. The garden terrace cafe has great food and the Arboretum looks good at any time of year. We particularly enjoyed the new open area that includes great views over the surrounding countryside.

Great day out walking among the trees. With views from the top of the hill. Lovely garden centre too. Batsford is dog friendly and has a great cafe for lunches. The carpark is free. Only 1.5 mile walk into Moreton in Marsh. Lots of Spring Blossom in April.

Interesting experience. Great place for long walks.
The aviary is a very good place to see and learn more about the birds and their behaviour. Plus is an excellent day out for the kids.

Had a really great visit here for the first time. The arboretum itself is fantastic and so is the restaurant/cafe- all the staff I had dealings with were helpful and efficient. Restaurant menu interesting and very competently prepared. The brierty of plants in the garden centre is also extensive sndI barely got out without spending money on plant pots which are especially well priced.
