Me and my friends were visiting the area and we wanted to go bike riding and we found this beautiful place. John the owner was so kind and helpful. John went above and beyond to help us and assist us with our bike hire. John even asked if he could come along to guide us so we don't get lost which was amazing. John even gave us all the history of the area too, which was a bonus! He is the best! Definitely recommend this place!

Eco friendly place, popular with cyclists and locals. Good coffee and bacon sandwich’s. Perfect home made scones.

I love this place so much I’m there nearly everyday! So cosy, homely and warm. Coffee is lovely and the cakes and bacon sandwiches are to die for. Hope it’s here forever!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the delightful charm and culinary excellence of The Rusty Bike Cafe in Swainby, and it's safe to say that this hidden gem has earned a permanent spot in my heart. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was captivated by the warm and inviting ambience that perfectly complemented the rustic yet modern decor.

The Rusty Bike Cafe stands out not only for its welcoming atmosphere but also for its exceptional food quality. The menu, a thoughtful blend of classic favourites and innovative creations, showcases the culinary expertise of the chefs who have a passion for crafting memorable dining experiences.

My the way, the cakes are wonderful.

Fantastic cafe for cyclists and non cyclists. Hidden gem. Run by a cyclist so understands our needs. Bike hire available. Great place for walkers. Dog friendly. Best coffee in the area. The spicy Tomato soup with a cheese scone is to die for and I normally hate tomato soup. Does some unusual beverages and snacks not available elsewhere.

Lovely little cafe with a homely atmosphere. Very popular with cyclists. I had a bacon sandwich which was very good quality bacon, and cooked well. Also had a coffee that was also good, with gingerbread syrup. They also have good cakes, which we took to go

John runs a great cafe; pit stop for bikers & clearly has a passion for people & biking.
A well needed drink after a hot day in the saddle. He even has an original Jack Taylor hung on the wall.

Little gem of a spot in Swainby - warm welcome, decent coffee and a few savoury and sweet vegan options with a couple of plant milks. Prices reasonable too. Great place for me to stop at when out on my motorcycle. Will be back. Thank you x

A perfect rest point for any cyclist in the North Yorkshire Moors. Great coffee and traybakes which are very good value. There's a safe space for bikes and pumps etc should you need them. The young staff are very professional and friendly. I suspect I'll be back many many times.

A nice cafe if cycling or walking in the area, make sure you check the opening times as it's not always open.

One of my favourite cafes to visit! The scones are delicious and freshly made, along with the other food too. Staff are warm and welcoming, making it such a lovely place to unwind with family and friends. Interior furnishings are quirky and fun, creating such a homely atmosphere. The view from the cafe is also amazing, and is even better on a lovely day when you can sit outside with a coffee! However, I would love to see some more food options available on a daily basis as sometimes the choice can be limited. Nevertheless, an amazing spot!

Very popular cycling stop.
Coffee excellent, home cooked cakes and snacks looked lovely too though didn't indulge this time
There's no car parking (bring a bike!!) and it gets busy quickly!
