It's a great place for the family. Great staff always very helpful and happy to you, and a great atmosphere, Great food and fine drinks at a price you can afford.. Ive been going they for years and many more visits is on my cards

Can't go wrong for the price of food and drink. I got the jacket potato from the deli menu. Not many places you can get a good portioned meal with a drink (non alcoholic) for under £6 and it was really tasty!

Staff are always polite and helpful no matter how busy they are. I enjoy visiting as it does have a nice atmosphere plus a good sized beer garden for people to enjoy

The parmos are the best.portions are really generous and chips are lush.

If you want great home cooked food then this is the place..our food was delicious with huge portions and great value for money...Next time I'm visiting we'll be dropping in for breakfast 😋

Ive always liked king John's the foods nice and the WiFi is good

The paces is nice to go for a drink with friends and family and you can take your dog in the beer garden when it nice summer whether in king John's pub

Food is amazing. Portions are absolutely huge too big for one person best parmo av had from anywere. Chips are homemade and so good.

I recently dined at The King Johns Tavern in Hartlepool, and the transformation since it became a Tees Inns pub from a Wetherspoon is truly remarkable. Great food and drink. Big portions!

We met friends here for lunch on Saturday 22 December. Given the day of week and time of year it was full and quite busy. The atmosphere was pleasant and congenial.

The staff were great, friendly and efficient. The food was good and I appreciated the availability of gluten free options.

The place was pleasantly warm, which was great. Too often places become hot and stuffy but not here. My friend did notice that it was almost exclusively full of blokes, so come on ladies, don't be shy.
