Hosts Rose and Duncan were excellent nothing too much trouble. Lovely spotlessly clean room. Breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever had so much choice and the fruits were fresh every day and the hot food cooked fresh not kept warm on hot plates like other places. The 5 little fur girls are so adorable, friendly and so well behaved. So many tea/coffee choices in the room along with plenty of milk in the fridge. Lots of treats too biscuits, fresh cake and sweets. Had a fantastic time and will definitely be booking again later in the year.

Staying here at the moment and we are more than impressed. Everything is outstanding, from the room and bathroom to the home made food. Rooms are beautifully themed, perfectly clean but unlike any other hotel we've been to, this one offered more than just basic toiletries and towels. In the room we were provided with a good range of teas, coffees, milk and even a complementary bottle of wine. In the bathroom we were amazed by the products available: different types of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, but also shaving products, baby stuff, toothbrush and toothpaste, hand cream etc. Entertainment for kids was also provided (we didn't have any kids but they were surely thought of): kids dvds, books and toys. The hosts are lovely and they also welcome dogs, there is a dog towel too. Regarding the price, rooms are affordable, have seen hotels charging more for offering less in similar locations. Never felt this welcomed in any other hotel and we do travel a lot. Big thank you and highly recommend this hotel and its hard working people.

Lovely quaint B&B. Really nice and clean room. Rose and Duncan are wonderful hosts, who made a pot of tea with homemade cakes when we arrived, with more waiting in our room. They make perfect evening meals and full English breakfast with so much choice for cereal as well. They have 5 friendly shiatsu dogs who love a fuss. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic service. A warm welcome , room was scrupulously clean , lovely and warm. We had a well stocked welcome tray with a great choice of drinks and snacks .We were greeted with a pot of tea and delicious home made sponge cake. My bed was very comfortable.Breakfast was absolutely perfect, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Our stay for 6 people was faultless and I cannot recommend highly enough .

They couldn't do anything more for us. Every drawer had something that we might need, games, books, and more. Super dog friendly, with their own dogs giving us all a meeting. Even kindly prepared me some packed lunches with snacks for the road.

The room was well stocked with wine, milk, and water in the fridge and was spotless and very comfortable. Excellent selection is coffee, tea, and snacks were waiting for us, as well as homemade cake. Came back to beds tidy and new towels. Breakfast is a wise choice including fruit, cereal, and cooked choices.

Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone, especially dog owners.

Lovely couple, very welcoming indeed. Room was comfortable and clean, with everything and more than you could need provided. We were greeted with a cup of tea and a homemade cake and when I left my shirt the lovely lady and gentlemen agreed to send it to me in the post without a fuss. definitely recommended

Duncan and rose are great hosts❤I loved every single minute of it. nothing was a bit of trouble for this lovely couple , food was absolutely great , company was lovely and I can’t forget about the dogs what a great addition to the b&b ❤The Location is in a great lovely place great scenery, I would 10000% recommend staying here it’s a place that you feel so at home with , I can’t thank this great couple enough 😘Thankyou so much x

Recently stayed at The Old Bell and had a lovely time. The atmosphere was very welcoming and everything you could possibly need was catered for. The rooms were very spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. The breakfast was very impressive. The owners were very lovely and so was a cuddle with their woofers, all in all an exceptional place to stay.

Had a really really great stay here ,with a group of friends .nothing was to much trouble . Would highly recommend a stay here. Dog friendly . very clean and tidy rooms. Looking forward to my next stay here

The room was lovely when you see tea and coffee making facilities in the room I doubt they include absolutely everything including cupa soup oh and cake from the lady of the house the breakfast is outstanding would definitely stay here again

very welcoming stayed for 2 days for work id recommend roses hotpot .excellent hosts. rooms were very comfy with everything you could need .was even given a pack lunch for work on both days .wouldn't hesitate to go back.5 plus stars.

Under new management, excellent room, service and breakfast. There is now parking for around 3 cars in front of the guest house. The room had everything and more than we required and loved the little Christmas touches to the rooms.

Lovely Room. Hosts were brilliant. Kids loved it and already asking to go back there. Great choice of breakfast too.
