Embarking on a 6-hour round trip to Horizon Aquatics proved to be a journey that was entirely worthwhile. Having engaged with Horizon Aquatic's exceptional online services for over a year—ranging from their user-friendly website to their outstanding email communications—my in-store experience only served to solidify my high regard for them.

Horizon Aquatics stands as a paragon within the UK's aquascaping industry. The store presents an awe-inspiring gallery that captivates at first glance, complemented by a meticulously organized layout that epitomises the zenith of high-end aquascaping retail environments.

James and Nicole, the heart of Horizon Aquatics, are lovely individuals who provide an exceptional level of service. Their warm welcome instantly made us feel at home, and their willingness to spend considerable time answering our questions underscored their deep-rooted passion for aquascaping. It's this very passion that radiates throughout every facet of their business, making it abundantly clear that they're not just running a store—they're spearheading an evolution within the UK aquascaping industry.

This store has such a great reputation, I simply had to make the 5 hr drive to see what all the fuss was about. Oh my, Horizon Aquatics just doesn't disappoint on any level. Greeted on arrival with a smile, a warm welcome, and a very well needed cup of coffee, I made my way around this Aladins cave of aquascaping wonders. Throughout my 7 hr stay, I slowly made my way from room to room, leaving the aquarium gallery till last. No spoilers here, but if it's aquascaping equipment, plants, fish, or simply fantastic customer service is up your street, then trust me, you will be in complete heaven. The gallery is breathtakingly awesome, with some real quality scapes showcasing world-class aquascaping techniques.
So quiet, peaceful, and relaxing, I just had to return the following morning, and luckily enough, I managed to spend time chatting with staff and owners. Can't thank you guys enough for looking after me for so many hours and making me feel so at home and very welcome.

Was surprised to find this outstanding aquatics shop right on my Doorstep!

It's not just a shop it's an art gallery of superbly aquascaped aquariums.

The amount of choice for every aspect of setting up an aquarium is among the best I've seen.

To top it off, the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Wish I could visit the actual shop. I ordered online and the plants I received were in absolutely perfect condition, packed meticulously. I am so impressed! Cannot praise them enough.

Absolutely fantastic aquatics. This place is hands down the best aquatics centre I’ve been to, they have incredible products with dedicated and knowledgeable staff. We can’t thank Charlotte enough for her amazing advice in setting up our Betta tank, and we’d have been lost without her and Nicole staying late to help us scape out the tank and choose some wonderful plants to go with it. We will certainly be back shortly to select one of the amazing Betta fish for its new home.

Everything arrived fast and well, it even came with a cadbury egg because it's close to easter! I had an issue with my order number and Nicole was very helpful. 10/10

What a beautiful store. We made clear on arrival that we were there mainly to look around and not to purchase anything. Yet, we were made to feel so welcome, had a good long chat about our Koi pond at home and were given some really great insight into the aquascaping hobby. My mother is now looking forward to her retirement when she'll set up a beautiful tank like the ones we were shown at Horizon!

First time visiting Horizon aquatics and was amazed .. Quality and range of stock was amazing and shop set out with extreme level of detail . There aquascapes are amazing and managed to bag myself some amazing wild Betta .. Will have to set up another tank ready for my next visit 😂

Great customer service and excellent variety of resources! Have been going to Horizon to pick up resources such as plants, substrate and lights and never been disappointed. Live stock is perfect for aquascapes and even a little room for the people like me with Nano tanks you can find a beautiful selection of shrimp, snails and fish. I even bought this little Betta and he's been perfect ever since we bought him. Every time I have walked into Horizon Aquatics I have also been greeted by polite and caring staff who are open to answering questions, provide tips and tricks to ensure your experience in the hobby is memorable and joyful. Props to the staff for being so helpful and can't wait to come for a visit again!

Got this gorgeous thing in my house now thanks to this lovely couple who run a very warm welcoming place my new Aladdins Cave of delights called Horizon Aquatics. The livestock and equipment are all top quality. The only drawback is it's so good I can't stop spending money in the place 🤣

Visited this store yesterday and it's absolutely beautiful. The team were very welcoming and happy to help. I just wish I had known about this store before I started my tank. It's really well done, it's almost like taking an Apple store and an Aquatics store and mixed them together - the showroom was amazing.

I bought a couple of plants from here,I was a bit worried that they would turn up dried out as it was the hottest week of the year, but I needn't have been. The plants arrived on time, they were expertly packed and in great condition, I wish I had found this company ages ago as it is by far the best I have found and will be using again without a doubt.

Just go. You won't regret it.
