We ordered 4 meals from the 2 x £15 menu and we all had fantastic meals and thoroughly enjoyed. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for good quality pub grub

What can we say. Went here on 31/08/23, lovely friendly little Pub, service was good and the food was out of this world, very reasonably priced, and the food was perfection.
In a time when everything is going up in price and the portions are getting smaller, the Winning Post is breaking the mould.
Would recommend this outstanding place to anyone.

Not only was the food lovely but the service was outstanding. We took my daughter for Sunday lunch yesterday & she was really struggling to sit at a table due to there being people around her. This was due to her having autism which the staff weren’t aware of yet they offered us the full conservatory to ourselves to help settle her. They were understanding and kept checking we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back, on a regular occasion

Fabulous food fabulous staff very friendly best Sunday lunch in the area! Prices are very good too! On bust days expect a wait as every think is cooked fresh from scratch but you’ll NOT be dissatisfied or disappointed beautiful food! Yum yum!

This place does not disappoint....the food is amazing, prices are really good although the menu on the website needs updating... the staff are very friendly and welcoming....its my new go to place for excellent service and food

Wasn't a pub that I would think of when wanting somewhere for a good pub meal. So glad we went, the food was absolutely delicious and the service excellent.

An absolutely perfect example of a traditional British pub. A nice place to go for a couple of drinks in a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The decor looks like it hasn't changed much in the last century, but that suits the place perfectly well as modernising this establishment would completely ruin the character of it. I've had a few meals in here and the food is outstanding. I would highly recommend that anybody in the local area stops by the Winning Post!

First class service food was outstanding and well worth the money going to go back and try a different meals on the menu, my lad took me he has always recommended it so has his family as well

Lovely cosy atmosphere. Great pub food and even better prices. The service could be a bit faster but the food was worth the wait!

Amazing! The price for a Sunday lunch is less than a fiver! For this you receive a massive dinner, including 3 veg and 3 massive Yorkshire puds all home made! The drink prices are to bad and the service came with a smile! Will most definitely be going again!
