The Quills Restaurant

Service was lovely last week on Tuesday at 12:30pm for lunch. Great quality food presented. The pulled pork burger was delicious. The onion rings were cooked to perfection. Chicken with rice, with monteray jack cheese was delicious. Cocktails presented nicely.

Staffs were very kind and foods were delicious.

We were a table of 10, 6 that were vegetarians and there was a good selection on the menu including drinks for all. The food was very nice. We did have an issue with one of the fajita dishes being too over cooked with some of it burnt but the staff were very quick to bring out a new one. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
When they found out we were celebrating a birthday they brought out a dessert with a candle which was a very nice gesture.

Delicious! The food was simple yet fantastic. We went for olives and hummus to start..all very tasty. For mains I had the rib eye and he had the "meat lover" fajitas. The food was just so spot on. The rib eye was cooked to perfection and had such a beautiful flavour. All 3 meats in the fajitas were cooked in their own flavourful way. We had sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was beautiful. The espresso martini was bang on. Very reasonable prices for wonderful food.

Nice restaurant. A lot of different things on the menu. Staff was very friendly and hands-on. I had the mixed grill and it was honestly one of the best I've ever had. The meat was just right. Big portions too. Would recommend.

From the moment I walked into Quills Restaurant, the experience was outstanding. The staff and owners greeted us warmly with friendly smiles. We did not have to wait long for our food which was so delicious. The chef (who I briefly met) did an stirling job. The staff and waiters kept checking at appropriate intervals. The restaurant is clean, modern with rustic features. Seating is very comfortable. Having been here before over 5 years ago, I asked if the owners were new, they confirmed they had taken ownership in 2018...what a welcome difference. I will definitely return again and again - amazing experience and I highly recommend.

I took my bestfriend here for her birthday. Such amazing service! So so polite. The food was insane, not too pricey either.
The gentleman serving us heard it was my bestfriends birthday and before bringing the bill sung happy birthday and brought over a complementary brownie. Was such a beautiful thing to do and it really made our night! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

They made us welcome straight away. Good service from all. Tasty food, with reasonable prices. We would go back there again.

After 3+ visits to the venue, I am in every right to say the service is excellent and the food is delicious. The cheeseburger is top notch and the steak fajita is, well, sizzling! And no, they're not paying me to write to this review, but a discount next time will be welcome! ;)))

UPDATE from June 2023 - food is still good, but they've upped their prices, and the fajita is now over £18 which is steep, all things considered. Other main courses are around £15, except for the steak (around £23), so what used to be £10-20 per person is now easily £20-30 pp. Other than that, it's a pleasant venue with decent food.

We had breakfast with friends today and cannot fault the service we received from Dan at Quills. He was really friendly, with a good sense of humour. He took our order promptly. The food arrived swiftly as we had said we couldn’t stay too long today. Dan checked everything was ok with our food. Great service even when the restaurant was pretty busy.

Really lovely dining experience. Food was lovely, good portion sizes. Kids menu had a large variety. The service provided by Yulia was phenomenal, very polite and couldn’t do more for us.

My friend and I visited this restaurant yesterday evening after hiking around the area. We started with the carrot and coriander soup which was absolutely delicious. Very fresh and home-made served along with a white mini-loaf of bread. The burgers were excellent - I had a halloumi burger – lovely fresh ingredients served in a quality tasty seeded bun. A Sticky Toffee pudding with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream rounded off the meal very nicely indeed! In summary; we were extremely impressed with the high quality food.

The young chap who served us is a credit to the industry. [The lady who sat us down...less so...I think she was having an off-day; we felt she was very cold and non-engaging.] Overall, thank you for making our visit to Rochester a great experience. Very much look forward to returning when next in the area.

If you visit to Rochester, this place is super cool to have a meal while having a chat with your favs. So, calm and quite and it feels so relaxing.

The ambience is amazing and the food too. It's a lovely place for a family night out or a date. Very cheerful staff. There are some halal options too.

Delicious, fresh food at really reasonable prices. Even their lighter bites section came with a boatload of fries (which I must say were salted to perfection). The steak wrap was fantastic.

We had a nice evening at Quills the staff were friendly and professional and the food was very good. And the restaurant had a nice feel about it I would definitely recommend.

Had a really lovely meal today. Super reasonable price . Our server Yulia was super attentive and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend for a casual dinner.

Had such a lovely experience dining at The Quills on Sunday, was served by Ray she was lovely! Food was amazing, ordered the vegetable tagine, tasted extraordinary!! Definitely recommend going here 10/10
