Costa Coffee

I have been using this Costa for nearly 2 years.
The Bad:😡
Sooo expensive that I only go once a week as a treat. Last year a flat white went up by around 65p. Really!!!!!!!!
Starting to look a little tired..

The Good:😀
Very good friendly staff that work hard in what is effectively a tourist hot-spot.
I tend to use early in the morning to avoid the Q. Jade, Naomi and all of the staff are efficient and however busy have a warm welcome and a smile.

What I do notice is the staff have a good bond and energy with each other and that can be rare these days.

Always a pleasant experience.

Mocha is great! Lemon pie is good but a little bit too sweet .

However, this branch of costa was charging me 50p more of the same thing I bought at my local branch ??

Lovely friendly happy environment to have coffee.

I had a bit of an accident where I managed to knock my latte over my colleague. The staff were so very quick to react, bringing blue roll and cloths to tidy my colleague and clear up the mess. They also replaced my drink and lemon tart, which got covered too, free of charge. Thank you, from a very embarrassed and mortified customer.
(I was very concerned for my colleague in case she was burnt from the hot coffee - thankfully, she wasn't.)

Staff very friendly open until 7PM handy place to sit if u don't want to go to a pub , fairly quiet at times but often busy, free wifi.

This was the first time we visited the Costa in Rochester High Street. The staff were very helpful and polite.
It was clean. We were not rushed out of the door on finishing our drinks. Unlike some places we have visited.
We will certainly be visiting here regularly

We come here most days for coffee, sometimes cake, or even lunch. Always a relaxed atmosphere and comfy chairs.

Good service, well staffed, so not waiting long to be served or receive our items. Tables were clean and it was relaxed.

We popped in for a quick coffee and a catch up with our daughter and granddaughters who live just off the high street in Rochester. We only had drinks, but the food selection looked ok, they had what you would expect from a well run Costa.

The staff here make this more than just a typical Costa. Very efficient and helpful and they even remember your regular order! Quite a lot of seating, good choice of food and drink and toilets downstairs.

I work at Costa myself and can vouch for the drink quality, made as it should be adhering to brand standards, food was nice too.

Staff were friendly and quick, tables were kept clear with plenty of places to sit.

Nothing to complain about at all.

Always friendly: Jade and her crew are welcoming and pleasant: the good is delicious and freshly served. Stocking M & S food was a good idea, too.

Love this Costa. Friendly staff and generally far quicker service than many others inlcuding ones I've been too near my place at work in London. Plenty of tables inside and some outside seating as well. Situated in a great place on the historic high street. A stones throw from the castle, cathedral and train station. Their prices are also surprisingly good compared to other franchises. The coffee is what you would expect from Costa. Highly recommended.
