Can’t speak to rooms, as we didn’t stay over, but definitely to food and service. My family and I went for dinner and really enjoyed our food, and thought these were reasonably priced considering Lake District prices. Food was great, we appreciated the range of food on menu. The location is lovely, and the refurb looks great. Also we left an item of clothes by accident, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, we were able to retrieve the next day.

First class service across the board!
Welcoming friendly staff. Lovely clean and comfortable room.
Great food and front of house service.
Looks like early teething trouble has definitely been addressed and ironed out.
We had a fantastic stay!

Great new place. Well worth a try. Didn't try the food but looked nice as did menu. Rooms only seen on photos but look very nice. It's just what glenridding needs. Some good competition to the inn on the lake. The staff that we encountered were more down to earth than inn on the lake and weren't too busy to help (which is a problem we have had more than once with inn on the lake)
Good banter with staff and drinks we had were spot on.

Can't fault our stay here at all. The hotel has been renovated and it's been really well done. We chose a double room, which faced the main road, but wasn't noisy at all. Our room was spacious, clean, with tea & coffee facilities & TV, the beds were comfortable. Buffet breakfast is included and was extensive, all the traditional fry up items, toast, fruit, yogurt & patries, or you could order special breakfasts at extra cost such as eggs benedict. Check in was smooth, staff were very pleasant. We also met up with a group of friends and spent time in the pub area and had an evening meal & drinks. Everything was cooked fresh and was delicious! I had a red lentil & chickpea dahl, which I really enjoyed, my husband had the ginormous fish & chips and said it was one of the best fish & chips he'd had. The batter stayed crispy to the last bite. Another friend had Bang Bang Pheasant which he said was great. Alcohol prices were pretty reasonable too.
Overall we had a great experience and wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hotel to our friends and would definitely stay here again.
The only teeny minus was the free hotel carpark was very small and full... BUT, to be expected at such a popular area, and there was a huge public carpark across the road which cost just under £9 for the full day.

Fantastic place to be, I had a beautiful Game Pie, so please I decided to have this. Excellent service, lovely and pleasant staff and a lovely location, sat in the garden by the stream, perfect after a busy day.

Nice and clean place, but prices? Should be cheaper. I had the coffe and maybe better price for coffe. Menu looks nice but expensive. Staff friendly

We stayed here for the weekend and it was exceptionally pleasant experience. The hotel location is amazing, near to the lake as well as many hiking trails, and the view from the room was very nice. Rooms are quite large and clean.

The staff were just brilliant, very welcoming and friendly. (Especially Louise, sorry if I’m spelling your name wrong).

The food was also very good. We had both breakfast and dinner there, delicious!

Highly recommended and definitely coming back again.

What an absolute gem. Staying just one night at this fabulous hotel. Sadly I am here for a short one night stopover as I am working in the area. But so far this hotel is ticking all the boxes, greeting during check in was pleasant and staff engaging and welcoming. The room is sumptuous, clean and well equipped (apart from a wet bathroom floor, I think water leaking around the shower screen) and very comfortable, with iron, iron board, hair dryer, very pleasant shower gel/ shampoo, and decor decent. The bar and restaurant area well presented, clean, tidy and welcoming. Dinner chosen from the specials menu, was prepared and delivered to a very high standard, complements to the chef who obviously has a passion for delivering fine food cooked to a very high standard. With parking to the rear of the property, and perfectly located in the heart of the Lake District, you really can’t go wrong with this one.

We stayed two nights b&b here. It's a nice hotel which looks recently renovated with a nice bar. It also has a nice outdoor seating area for drink and food though menu is a bit limited if you don't want pizza. The pizzas were excellent though!
Had a full breakfast the first morning which was barely lukewarm when served, the bacon was hard and stuck together and the scrambled egg & beans had a skin on it as if it all seemed to have been keeping warm waiting to be served. The tomato was so dehydrated it was just recognisable! Breakfast was better the second morning!

Only went to the bar, lovely food with a great selection of beers. Fantastic quick service and delivery of the food. The staff were really polite even though they were ran off their feet!! The terrace area is really nice especially in the sun. We'll worth a visit when your in Glenridding.

Really appreciated the hospitality at The Glenridding Hotel having made a booking to attend my neices wedding nearby.

The staff were friendly & very welcoming, the furnishings were smart & clean &, importantly, the bed was very comfortable. We had a room with a lake & mountain view & the bar food & breakfasts were tasty & enjoyed.

My brother & wife were given an upgrade to a suite without requesting it - much appreciated. The ambience of the hotel was casual & not restrictive that I particularly found relaxing.

I am only sad that I did not find the time to have a swim in the indoor pool, but perhaps next time as I would recommend the hotel & would stay there again.

Thank you so much to everyone. Much appreciated.

A lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Delicious food especially the cooked breakfast. The room we stayed in overlooked the lake and was spacious, very clean and comfortable one of the best nights sleep we have had in a hotel. They have in place all the safety measures to ensure guests are protected as much as possible in the current circumstances with one way systems and hand sanitiser at every entrance point. Highly recommended.

We was greeted with very friendly staff only recently took over by new management. They made us feel very welcome. They let us check in early as it was supposed to be 4 o’clock and let us park up and use their pool and sauna.
The room was lovely with amazing views which we requested and very clean . We had bath and shower amazing big bath 🥰 we did get abit chilly though the heating was on but I’m always cold lol
The evening food was lovely, I had pizza and red wine,Lovely atmosphere and a very friendly waitress serving us.

We stayed 1 night and On the day of leaving the manager and receptionists was so nice to make sure and look if it was good weather conditions for our walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back.

Pool is a bonus. Nice rooms with view of the lake and a nice restaurant and bar downstairs. Some features such as the cafe not open yet, still being renovated since new owner took over after COVID. (As of July 2022)

We had a fab stay, we booked a standard room, on the road side and took ear plugs, the room was clean and everything worked as it should, the bed was comfy and the tray full of tea and coffee. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and they seem to work all hours, serving us breakfast and then in the evening serving us food in the bar, Well Done Guys your doing a amazing job. The beckside bar had a good choice of food and drinks, I had the Pizza in our last night which was awesome. Thanks For A Fab Stay! We will be back.
