A40 Café

What a surprise to find this place. Nice guy running it today and very helpful
Food was so nice and fresh. The burger bun was just toasted just right for that crisp crunch as you bite into it. Coffee was not weak like some places was well balanced. Nice and clean in the gents. Will stop here again if passing. Thank you and keep up the service

Absolutely fantastic couple that run this cafe. I broke down and they were so nice and friendly. Letting me know just to give them a knock when they closed if I needed anything and that they were still going to be there after closing.
Had a cuppa and a breakfast bap which was delicious.
Thank you both for making me feel safe on my own.

Driving home from Preston with my dog Luna, we both really needed a break, glad we stopped I asked if I could use their toilet, they were more than happy to let me without buying any food 👍 I did buy some chocolate 😁 also asked if it was ok for me to walk my dog around to stretch her legs, again they were happy to let me do that, all in all pleasant experience, I would like to have a sit down meal as the food and restaurant looked lovely.

Excellent service. Really polite and friendly staff. Full English extra sorté fried potatos, mug of tea . Can of coke . And a twix for the journey less than a tenner.

Was about to close but still made fresh rolls 😋 cups of tea and made us feel welcome and didnt rush us out

The best full English I've had in years. All lovely and hot, not greasy and full of flavour. The fried bread was superb, even my wife ate it and she never has it. Will be back when passing again.

Stopped off for breakfast before heading to Wales. The cafe was spotless. Ordered a full breakfast & other food and it was so gorgeous. Hot and loads of it. Best fried bread ever. Staff were very welcoming. Prices were very reasonable. Will stop here more often when we are passing.

Great place to stop off for breakfast or lunch... it's right on the A40. Very friendly and very reasonably priced.... and also excellent tasty food.

Excellent breakfast, quick pleasant service

Last time i stopped for breakfast, was about 5 years ago and it was good back then. This time I called in,there were new people running it. This time i was really hungry. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and the place had a good vibe to it. Overall. I will give it. 9 out of 10.when I'm up that way again. I will be calling in for a breakfast.
