The Riverside - Pub, Kitchen & Coffee House

Great service, lovely set up. The gluten free menu was fab! I liked how some of the sharing plates were gluten free too. Also felt comfortable breastfeeding in the restaurant so that was an extra bonus. Would highly recommend and hope to go back one day ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Riverside delivers superb authentic dinners featuring local cuisine and a charming regional ambiance. Service is excellent, making for a wonderful dining experience.

Good food, well presented. Friendly ambience with a great riverside patio and also a bar stool alternative where I sat and read my book over a leisurely lunch.

We had tea on a Friday 5pm. The restaurant was busy and we hadn't prebooked, but we were found a table which was booked for later on. We were given ample time for our meal and didn't feel time pressured because of this. The staff were so friendly and we were welcomed like old friends! As I was driving I couldn't partake in a cocktail, but my daughter had one which was lovely!There is an extensive menu and all reasonably priced. The food arrived quickly and was delicious and piping hot. The desserts were utterly divine! Highly recommend The Riverside, and should we be in Dunblane again, we will be back!

Great place to have a bite to eat on a Sunny day (indoors nice as well)..Friendly staff, reasonably priced and tasty food. A couple times, we noticed orders and tables were muddled but not a real issue.

Not our first meal here and not our last. Great ambience for couples, groups or families and really delicious food every time. Always appreciate the friendly helpful service too and the beautiful surroundings both inside and outside 👌

Separate gluten free menu with a good choice of GF options, celiac safe. Also desserts, beer and cider. I loved the fish and chips! Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere relaxed.

Lovely place to bring friends for a meal or just to have a quiet coffee. Their flexibility with menus is so welcome - a bunch of us had lunch there the other day and they were more than happy to accommodate different dietary needs. The coffee is excellent and the helpful staff are a real credit to the place.

This place is absolutely what independent breakfast spots are all about.

Great welcome, swift polite service by engaged staff and the most delicious full Scottish breakfast I've enjoyed in a very long time.

Great poached egg, amazing sausage and bacon and haggis and black pudding and.....

A great al fresco decked area to the side overlooking the river.

I'll be coming back to Dunblane more often with my guests if this restaurant is anything to go by what to expect.

I had the Beef Featherblade which was delicious.

A nice selection of deserts left us spoilt for choice and there was a good selection of beers, including local ales, which were top notch.

To add to a lovely evening, we had terrific service from Sophie.

Really good pub/restaurant with lovely spaces inside and out. Good food and great service from friendly staff. History too - Robert Burns used to visit!

Popped in for lunch, steak sandwich really delicious, locally made ciabatta really nice. Good selection of beers too. Friendly staff. Polite and efficient. Definitely recommend

Beautiful setting along the river in Dunblane. Delicious food, great service and a beautiful historic building. Be sure to check out the spiral staircase leading downstairs!

Went for lunch, we were welcomed and shown to a table. Staff brought a dish of water for my dog. Menu was very appealing. Food was good and plentiful. Staff were excellent I would go back again.

Amazing food in a very nice location! Good selection of beers and impressive food menu. My generous "Slow braised shin of Scottish beef" was cooked perfectly, it was melting in my mouth, you won't need a knife to cut it. Served with an abundance of roasted veggie and a very delicious and not to heavy bone marrow gravy.
The place has got many sittings outside, but considering the chilling temperature we preferred to stay nice and warm inside.
If you are around the area, I strongly suggest to visit.

Absolutely in love with the food served here. We had soup of the day which was mushroom, chickpea and red wine and calamari. Both of the dishes were top noch but my favourite had to be their Victoria sponge cake. It was love at first sight.

First visit here on Sunday evening we had the Sunday roast and it was very enjoyable with quick service. Lovely outfior seating area overlooking the River Highly recommended and good value for money
