What a wonderful little shop! I visited The Home of Handmade after very kindly being gifted some vouchers. As soon as you walk toward the door you can smell all the wonderful treats. The body scrub and oil was a real treat. I would highly recommend for gifts, treats and home items.

Had a great online personal shopping experience at Home of Handmade. Great knowledge of the stock, happy to answer lots of questions. Was meant to be buying Christmas presents, but ended up selecting a load of little gifts for me as well!

Alex has serious style and taste, and has taken such great care curating everything in the shop to be locally made and eco-friendly. I can spend hours browsing, there is something for everyone here! She is going over and above during covid-times too, offering local delivery and posting via the website!

What a joy this little village shop and online store is. A treasure trove of gorgeous gifts, cards and jewellery, all with fabulous customer service and a very warm welcome. It’s super stylish and sells wholesome products that are ethically sourced and sustainable. I definitely recommend a visit.

I just adore this shop. It’s like stepping into a room of absolute heaven, a nice range of cards, jewellery, gifts, home furnishings and more. I recently had a personal shopping experience over video which was great as I got to support local business during Covid and get a lot of Christmas gifts. Really worth a visit online, in person or over a personal shopping experience.

This unique shop is tucked away in Woodhouse Eaves in Charnwood. The owner’s customer service is gold!! Nothing is too much trouble. The information she relays to you about every item, how it was made, who the maker is, where it comes from is second to none. It is one of the most eco friendly, original and unique gift shops I’ve seen and visited. Setting out a great precedence how 20th century's shops should be. I have bought some wonderful gifts from here and when I’m in the village I can’t resist popping in. Through covid I have used the online service and Alex has given me a personal shoppers experience, which was exceptional - just ask. Alex then posted the gifts directly to my friends which they all loved too.

So wonderful to have an online shop be so local that is also filled with real handmade products or products that are locally produced and at the same time are really pretty. From diffusers to cushions to birthday cards they act as brilliant gifts or for your own home. The owner not only has an eye to help you choose or help you put things together but is also very friendly and approachable.

Beautiful shop in the village, Woodhouse Eaves. Stunning pieces for the home, garden, and lovely gifts and cards too. Cannot wait to move so I can pick out new pieces for our home.
