Madingley Mulch

Over the last couple of weeks we have ordered bulk bags of compost. The overall experience was flawless. The Denise's Delight we ordered was of excellent quality. Ordering was easy online. We had a telephone call to say when the bag was to be delivered and it was placed exactly where we had asked. (We were out during deliveries).

Will use again when needed.

Great staff so friendly and great place to shop for garden materials

I had a complicated landscaping building project to do... Although I knew what I wanted I wasn't sure how to calculate the amounts of materials needed. A great manager. The team at Maddingly Mulch were so helpful and kind. They went to a lot of trouble to help. Items delivered on time. All at a good price. Our project was completed very successfully. Several more visits to buy different things... All the same service and thoughtfulness. Truly professional. Unfortunately I am an infrequent visitor to the area... Wish we had a Maddingly Mulch in Hampshire!

Good core range of bulk products, samples of each on display outside shop. Friendly staff and a small shop with a little bit of everything garden related. Ordered both "click and collect" and for delivery, both worked well. Delivery driver polite and friendly, dropped off products on driveway as requested.

Great bargains on compost and grow bags. We've also had top soil delivered. Good service

Excellent product and service. Rang me to arrange delivery date. Driver was very helpful; he arranged for cars to be moved so that he could drop gravel in my front garden. I was impressed.

We had been to 3 previous building merchants before giving up on what we were trying to find (due to out of stock).
They had what we needed in stock and had a variety of colours that we haven’t seen in the past. The staff were very approaching, friendly and knowledgable.

I purchased a bulk bag of 20mm blue slate chippings on the first lockdown and the quality and colour was really good.Delivery was quick under the circumstances.The chippings still look good a year on and haven’t crushed to dust like some I’ve had.Will definitely use again.

Wide range of garden products at reasonable prices. Mainly provide a delivery service for bulky products, but you can also collect from the shop.

Good place to buy soils, composts, bark, decorative stone etc., both in big bags for lorry delivery or ones you can take home.

Good prices, friendly & helpful staff and a shop stocked with all manner of gardening, decorating and DIY tools & equipment. A step above the usual run of these places.

Always worth a visit. Good parking, though enter the yard with your car only if invited by staff to pick something up as there's a lot of lorry activity with goods being loaded for delivery.

Knowledgeable staff, good tools. Picked up an awesome big wrench for little over £15. Not sure when I'll need it but comforting to know I have it in the garage.

Ordered some bark last week. The delivery was prompt and even though i wasn't in when they delivered they where able to deiiver it in a sensible place on the driveway exactly where i wanted it.

the young lad named Ollie was rather helpful and also quite attractive if i must say so myself, he helped me get some satisfactory looking grass for my flower bed what a lovely lad!

They sell gravel and rocks for your garden plus peat and fertiliser. In the shop they sell diy and garden tools, diy bits like screws nails and raw plugs and wall fixing. I would definitely call in at Madingley Mulch rather than driving further to a large diy store.

One of the best builders merchants in this area with friendly staff and a huge range of materials at competitive prices.

Reasonably priced and friendly staff who ive always found very helpful always offering to load the 25kg bags.
