Big store, kids would love it and you would find what you’re looking for. Staff very helpful.

Their staff.. just WOW! Our stroller broke on our way to the airport and we stopped by Smyths to purchase a new one. We asked if we could buy the display one as we don’t have time to build the new one, and they said not to worry. They built our new stroller and put air in all four tyres for us! We want to thank them for their amazing customer service! We did not get the managers name who helped us, but she was AMAZING! Thank you Chelsea for building our stroller for us!

I would like to thank Miriam today. I visited the store for an exchange of a faulty product. She was polite and attentive and talked through the key features and benefits of a replacement product. I was able to quickly make a decision on a purchase (didn’t mind paying the extra £30, as she explained everything so well!) She also assisted me in carrying the heavy item to my boot. This type of service is rarely ever seen anymore. She really did go over and beyond. Thank you!

I visited store last week to buy a new car seat for my 4 month old. I’d already been in store with my partner a few weeks before and we’d received amazing advice from Victoria so as soon as I’d spotted her on my return, I headed straight for her to go ahead and buy.
One again she was amazing, provided amazing service and went over and above to help and answer any questions.
Once purchased, someone from store brought the seat out for me.
I’d originally thought I could fit it myself but due to the size, I asked for some help.
Chelsea (I think that was her name!), came and fitted the seat for me, gave me loads of advice on fit etc and made sure my little girl was safely strapped in before leaving us.

We needed a new car seat and base urgently so called in to see what we could find. The young lady who helped us was nothing short of brilliant. Knowledgeable, friendly, able to answer any and all questions fully and simply and so helpful.
My only regret is that I did not get her name to give her the credit she deserves. If the manager of the store wanted to get in touch I'd be more than happy to see if we could help identify her.

One of the best customer service experiences I have ever had.
Visited this store back in August as they had availability for a PS5 at the time and we ended up leaving with much more. I put this down to the experience we received we were able to browse and enjoy the store which is nicely put together. At one point we came across the pram section we wanted to try it out with our LO in it. However it was chained up and the member of staff did not have the key. The manager came to assist and helped to resolve the issue. The levels of communication was great to see and experiences like this make you appreciate being able to go in to store as opposed to shopping online. From management all the way to the retail assistance every person in this store is fantastic!

Love it. Good selection of toys. I like how my daughter was able to test a scooter before we bought it. Bought a lot from here every Christmas. Can be a little bit rammed at certain times and doesn't help if there is a ladder taking up space. Staff always kind and helpful..

Good tidy store with lots of free parking as well. Children's paradise, expect to spend lots! We were so happy after purchasing our first cosatto travel system here 4 years ago, the staff were really friendly and informative. We've traditionally visited every year since for our child's birthday too :)

Went in to look for a new pram. Such an excellent selection of prams for all budgets. We were served by Miriam. She was very helpful and very knowledgeable. We walked out super happy with our pram purchase. 10/10

Just would like to thank one of your staff Courtney S for her help as nothing was too much trouble for her, when we went early Christmas shopping today at your Peterborough store.. Went into Smyths today 6/8/23 to buy several gifts for my granddaughter.They had everything I wanted cheaper or no more expensive than anywhere else and was shown which Isle the different gifts were in to save wandering around.JESSIE in particularly is a wonderful young lady being very polite,helpful and lovely to talk to.

Went in today looking for highchair and was expertly served by Victoria, she was helpful and her customer service is a credit to you. Returns policy is strict which i agree with. Also went in for Lego event yesterday and had a few questions about a lego set so found John , also helpful and knew his stuff. The store manager is great and very helpful, previous reviews find him rude but i most certainly did not

I called to ask if they had a product in stock as most of the country hasn't.

Claire was very helpful over the phone and the staff in-store were amazing and friendly and knowledgeable.

I don't often shop at Smyths as my child is not such a child anymore lol but the Lego selection was awesome as was the member of staff who helped me.

It's quite a way from where I live but if this is how staff are trained I'm converting from the other large toy store who in my opinion are no where near as friendly and knowledgeable and happy to genuinely help and advise.

Well done and thank you for making my trip worth while.

We are new to parenthood, and the staff we talked to and who helped us were great. I feel the staff have surpassed the expectations. The manager even remembered us two weeks after we had a brief chat with him, which we felt was very positive.

This store is faultless, about time we got a decent Toy Shop in Peterborough. Been in a few times with the wife now and cannot fault the approach from all staff, everyone there actually wants to be at work and has a smile. Staff on hand to get stuff down for us which was on the top shelf. Only one Toy Shop will go to now. Keep up the good work!!

Was in the store on 28/4/22 and decided to purchase a pack of pokemon cards for nostalgic reason. Kindly asked Eleanor to randomly pick a pack for me, which she did aswell as a joke about them being non refundable if I'm not happy, however upon opening the pack it revealed a card that is valued at £75 and it has really made my day and I just want to say she is amazing 👏🏻

Ordered a Mini Maxi Deluxe scooter for my daughter using the Click and Collect Service. Within 30 minutes of placing the order, I received an SMS text message advising me that my order was ready for collection.

A smooth transaction from start to finish......something rare with high street retailers!

This store is really good, the staff and the manager of the store who is Jamie and also the security man.

Between Jamie and the security man they helped me very much.but at the end of the day the child it was for had it stolen while she was in hospital ill.

Good luck to Jamie and his staff & security in the coming year.keep them they are really good at their job.

Friendly staff. Victoria was amazing, showed us exactly how pram goes together and comes apart. Very helpful store team, we will be returning again soon.
