The store is light bright well stocked with a good variety of food and also stock

A really good Tesco store. Never have to wait very long as they keep the checkouts and self-serve moving all the time.

Shout out to Robert ( one of the older brigade) who was working on the checkout 22nd Jan about 12. He just made my day so cheerful and friendly.

Over the past couple of days we have visited this store to change over our mobile provider. We were assisted by Liam. It was an absolute pleasure in dealing with Liam whose advice and assistance was excellent and after our first visit we knew we would return. At no time did he pressure us to buy any product was knowledgeable about the product suitable for us and assisted us in making the change. We kept our phones but saved £32 in the change. A credit to Tesco.

Amazing store, with lots of parking

I shop there because it is close to my house and the staff are always friendly and helpful

After a discussion regarding customer service, the pharmacy team have done a good job in keeping us informed and procuring the correct medication.

Apart from clothes it has everything else.
Clothes can be ordered online and post to this site for collection.
Some staff are friendly.

Tesco supermarket is big,good price

A lot of people on here with negative reviews are confusing the Tesco superstore (near Robin Hood Island) with the Tesco Extra next door to Notcutts. The superstore is not round the corner from Sainsbury, it doesn't have a cafe either. 🤷

As we were TOTALLY unable to get a flu vaccination from our normal NHS GP Practices, who have ABSOLUTELY NO information available for their own patients, we chose to have them at Tesco Pharmacy, Hall Green.
Our appointments were booked for 14.20 & 14.40 but we received a phone call shortly after 09.00 to say they had run out of vaccination shots.
We were promised by the Pharmacist that there would be extra shots available from 17.00 onwards and so we re-booked.
We, my wife and I, were given our jabs in the private consultancy room by a very friendly Pharmacist.
Having had absolutely no information whatsoever from our respective GPs in Solihull we were extremely pleased to be able to receive our flu jabs at our preferred Tesco store in Solihull.
We think that in future years we won't bother going to our own GPs but will keep to the very personalised service we received today.
Thank you to the Pharmacist and to Tesco for making this free service available for the over 65s

We shop here every week, & on line shop also. Very helpful. Got everything I need.

Excellent large 1 stop shopping store.

Nice supermarket. Not bad selection of food, drinks, american foods too. They sell dvds and have nice friendly staff too. The supermarket is on the number 3,6,31,76 bus routes and is a about 10 minute walk from Shirley.

Spoke to the lovely manager called Claire today at the customer service desk who went out of her way to assist. Thanks again.

Well we were both well pleased with Tesco's Hall Green Birmingham today as we normally shop at the larger Tesco's Notcutts but we got everything we had listed plus more and very impressed with the store layout - certainly worth a return☺☺☺

Very big superstore.
Lots of ample parking.
Always very clean and well stocked.
They have a home wares and clothing department upstairs.
As well as a café.
