Excellent range of reasonably priced clothing. Very extensive ranges. A decent little Christmas department as well! Well worth a visit.

Nice shop, recently been updated as it was well needed, now as fitting rooms, store looks cleaner and better set out than previously, well done.

If you need baby or children's clothes can't go wrong for the price. Fantastic!

Three women who I came across in the store were all extremely helpful and friendly, by far the best service I've received in a retail store in a long while.

I hope when I return I will cross paths with them again.

Managed to get a Regatta coat for under £30, it's fantastic, I love it and looking forward to colder weather to wear it. It it's totally waterproof with taped seams and covers the bum. I also was lucky enough to find Regatta sweat shirts at bargain prices. The staff are helpful at the tills and patient whilst waiting for you to put everything away. Love the place and the staff are great too. Well worth a visit

Great shop and the only place around I could find heels at quite short notice. The only downside is the massive queues, but five stars for the great customer service.

This store is amazing! Where do I even start?
First of all, the pricing is actually reasonable. I'd say that most pieces of clothing can be bought for under £20, and around £10 or under for children.
Secondly, the variety of items. There are SO many different clothing items! It has almost everything you could want. Of course, if you're looking for high branded clothing (example: Gucci, Supreme, River Island) then you definitely won't find it, but sometimes it isn't all about it's brand! A brand is just a label that people use to judge things.
And finally; the quality of the items. As I said, you are NOT going to find Gucci in Matalan, but you CAN find some amazing clothing! Whether it's Gucci or not, the clothing in Matalan looks good, and is quite comfortable (unless it's a material like leather, of course).

I'd say that the only issue with Matalan is the restroom. There's only one, and it's quite similar to one you'd find in an indoor pool building (like the pool section of the Leisure Center). But other than that, this store is close to flawless. Definitely worth the visit, and I'll be sure to return!

It is easy for me to get around, as I'm in a wheelchair. There are lots to buy at reasonable prices. One complaint the toilets are never open.

Large size store has all the department's such as kids and homestore. Friendly staff who were also helpful as i went to this store to specifically purchase an item which i couldn't find. There is parking too
