I previously left a review regarding the extended wait times for Uber Eats collections at the Asda Peterborough Superstore. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a prompt response from the store acknowledging my concern and assuring me that my feedback would be used for improvements. This immediate attention to customer feedback exemplifies the store's commitment to providing a high-quality service for its customers.

I have since experienced a significant improvement in the collection process. I've noticed that collections are now made at the dedicated Click and Collect point, rather than at the Customer Service desk. This adjustment has led to a smoother, more efficient service with noticeably shorter wait times. I appreciate the store's swift action in addressing my concern, and it's clear that they value their customers' experience.

Nice essentials and food

Absolutely superb shop lovely staff and very nice and clean cafè great selection of toys but witnessed a citizens arrest last Friday

Great store, optician and cafe also there.
Plenty of parking too.

11 months ago I gave 1 star but went to Asda on Friday and completely changed my opinion.
Found staff very helpful and with a good attitude towards customers.
This time I am giving a 5 star review .....

I took my dad yesterday for the £1 soup deal for the over 60s in your cafe and what a wonderful idea it is. We were served by the lovely Vanessa who is a credit to your store. My dad thoroughly enjoyed his soup. Thank you Asda and thank you Vanessa.

Generally helpful, cheerful staff. Great range of products at good prices. Only place I know that sell Super King size bedding. Easy to park

Very helpful polite staff unlike0 Tesco they'll go out of their way to check if they have a productsa out in the storeroom (and Tesco rudely said if it ain't on the shelf obviously we haven't got it don't know why people keep asking) I left went to ASDA looking for similar products unfortunately they didn't have them but supervisor put non ASDA products in my basket and gave me a free voucher to spend I've shopped there ever since.
Plenty of friendly staff good product range are willing to help out at the self service check outs.
The only problem is more security is needed as there always seems to be shoplifters inside the store and people begging outside the door.

Firstly let's start of with the negatives. In the mornings everyday until 10.30am there is only 1 or 2 employees working on the tills. This is the same after 9pm as well. Saturday mornings are quite busy but when I was there last Saturday there was only 3 employees operating the tills and a 4th manning all the self checkouts. Secondly, the shop floor isn't always very clean with boxes and packaging all over the floor some days. Not only does the store look messy but it is a great health and safety hazard. The store is very understaffed and need more staff members working in the mornings.

The positives are the reason this ASDA store gets 5 stars. I still believe I am being too generous. The staff members provide excellent customer service and are approachable. They are very cheerful! The store has a wonderful range of products and the quality is great! The store facilties are well maintained and looked after.

Overall, I do recommend shopping here.

I went to send a parcel, and requested a label to be printed at click and collect. A Staff member did not come, the system just goes back to the home screen. Eventually I asked a security man whether he knew who looked after click and collect. He said he would go and find out where they were, he came, he could not find them, he rang, no response. He then asked for an announcement to be put out. Eventually someone came. A big thank you to Nathan (security man) for all of his efforts and with a smile too He could have easily said it was not his job. Fantastic customer service.

Excellent value for money, i came in to get some moisturiser for my legs and came out with a weeks shopping. Although its not the cheapest in Peterborough it definitely is still remarkably cheap. The only sad part is they do keep increasing prices and lowering the size of items. I remember when a 12 pack of donuts was £1.50 and now they're almost £3 but oh well.

I shop here weekly and find the staff to be the most helpful of any other supermarket around.
Customer services are brilliant and will try to resolve any issues quickly.
Click and collect at this store is a very slick automated operation which is much quicker than waiting in a queue for service.
Even though the store is not the largest supermarket in Peterborough it stocks a huge range of products which are generally either cheaper or price matched.

Great shop for everything including the pharmacy.
Clean and tidy the staff are polite and helpful even the security staff have kind manner.

Good sized supermarket with pretty much everything that you could need at good prices. The opticians in particular were very friendly and helpful. ( and brilliant prices for 2 pairs of varifocals, with tints and high refractive index lenses at £99. Similar specifications cost me £450 + @ Specsavers!) Interesting to read some negative reviews... such as the parking meters.... the person placing the review should realise that the £2 is a flat rate for 2 hours, slap bang in the City centre - this is fully refundable if you spend £10 in the supermarket. Seems very reasonable to me! Another comment was about only having 2 rails of clothing in George. Odd, there is a whole separate George shop next to the main supermarket.
