Fantastic place, seems well looked after, the fish look healthy and thriving! Good selection of products. Location is definitely a bonus with Dobbies next door and a big enough car park. Really enjoyed the visit!

Great shop good mixer of everything. Pond and fresh. Good tank selection. Great range of pond food for a range of budgets. Lots of accessories. Really good selection of fresh water fish. Just missed out on 5 stars as not very many live plants that day. But I will be back.

Our 3rd visit to set up our aquarium and on every occasion have found all the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable but not pushy to make a sale. Would highly recommend

We wanted some advice as are starting back up our tank.. they were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable.. they didn't try to just sell us stuff, and in fact advised not to go too fast.. They had loads of fish and equipment in stock. I'd definitely recommend these guys.

Went to Thornbury because my heater packed in a very nice man called matt helped me out with swapping it over with no problem after going through records because i lost the receipt also gave me some very helpful information.

They have excellent knowledge of such a variety of species. Always visit when I'm looking for new additions or accessories and food. Q. One question, I have a fish thats outgrown my aquarium will you take back, maybe in exchange for some food. I have a 5inch Ruby Shark

Fantastic customer service. I didn't have a clue what plants to put in my newly built wild pond, the lovely person (sorry didn't get a name) with the black nail varnish on knew exactly what to recommend, no pressure to buy. I was very grateful for such expertise.

Hidden gem that is worth a visit if you are in the area. Much better than many other Maidenhead stores I have visited. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fish generally in very good condition, the few tanks I spotted fish looking I'll or distressed where clear marked not for sale. Quite a few fish that are not always seen in LFS. Pretty much every time I go I see one or two fish I have never seen in over 30 years of keeping fish. Price wise most fish seemed about right given the quality though some felt a little high and some cheap.

I wouldn't buy my fish from anywhere else. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. They clearly love what they do and are very good at it

Visited today to get our first Betta fish. The young sales assistant was very knowledgeable and super helpful. Well recommended

We are in the early stages of marine keeping and have visited this store on two occasions within the last month, each time on a Sunday. The knowledge and time Craig has devoted to us has been exceptional. We have not felt under pressure in any way to make purchases and feel that all his advice has been honest and in the best interest of their customers and livestock. All of our questions have been taken seriously and answered thoroughly despite the likelihood that they have heard them multiple times already. We will be sure to return soon!
