24.08.22 Just been in for some last minute shopping for my weekend away. The lady working there was very polite, helpful and advised on how to save money on some multi buy purchases.

Sent K DOG for spring onions , we had a rap battle when she got home

Decent store, bit pricey at times but it's a local shop not a superstore. Excellent butchers, some excellent products and actually decent value on the whole

Handy to have. Staff are nice. Butchers is fab. Don't buy fruit or veg. Every time it's old and going off.

Not had great experiences when trying to buy fuel at a ‘petrol station’ on numerous occasions.
A good selection on offer as a convenience store, but to its own downfall - Don’t be so surprised when you’re in for a wait when users at the pumps then decide to do their weekly shop instead.
Needs a couple ‘Pay at the Pump’ card only terminals for those who just need a splash and dash.
Would avoid during busier times.

Turned up at pumps before evening closing time. All lights on. Staff not activating pump, doors locked and staff not responding to knocks.

This is the worst designed petrol station I have ever encountered. If your in a rush for fuel look elsewhere. People appear to fill up with fuel and then go shopping, leaving their cars at the pump. If you are lucky enough to get to the pump there's a good chance your then going to be stuck in the single queue inside the shop waiting for shoppers to pay for their weekly shop. Save yourself the hassle and use the petrol station out the other side of Willington heading towards Crook going up the bank, never any queues and the fuel is the same price.
