Had an amazing experience at Up & Running, Dave helped me with my gait analysis and looking at trial shoes! Also another lovely lady working there helping too! Great customer service and lovely staff- recommend coming if you need help with running shoes/accessorizes!

I’ve been running for 3 decades and buying running shoes everywhere, America, East Asia, etc, and I visited this place because it was close and a really rainy Saturday.

Knowledge was impeccable! The service is also great, simple, considerate and effective to the spot. Having been to stores worldwide with fancy machines and supposedly many experts, it was great and yet a humbling experience. Highly recommended!

I visited this shop to collect a race number. The colleague was wonderful. There were several people in the shop, but he was very engaging and jovial to all of us. Making us all feel welcome and special. A great talent to have.
A small running store with everything that you need.

Received a gift voucher for my birthday as I’ve signed up for my first ever 10k race. I really appreciated the thorough and personal service I received. Was in the shop for nearly an hour. Tried on a range of shoes, in depth conversation about my needs, videoed running to check gait and how different shoes corrected some of my issues. Came away with a lovely pair of trainers that I am looking forward to wearing for many miles to come. Thank you for sharing your expertise!

Oh my goodness, am I glad I went to this shop on a friend's recommendation. At 61 and starting the C25K, I decided to invest in a 'proper' pair of running shoes. Dave could not have been more helpful, videoing me jogging (can't really call it running!) to check my gait and showing me a selection of good quality shoes. The more expensive ones were my favourite however, they were on special offer, so I also bought some good quality running socks. This morning I went for the first run in my new goodies, and what a difference! Comfortable, well padded, light, a real joy. I was in the shop for over an hour, and left feeling that I had received 'good old fashioned service'. Many thanks, highly recommended.

I found the staff in this shop really friendly (I have forgotton her name already) They seemed to know what there were talking about and full of useful information. They allowed me to try on a range of different shoes from a range of different brands with different drops and had an in depth conversation about my running needs and what type of running I would be using the shoe for. This allowed me to find a trail shoe that would work out for me in trail running and ultra marathoin racing.

Visited to get some advice on replacing my shoes having just done my first 10k race. David took great care of me and gave lots of useful advice. My gait was checked and several shows tried. I came away with a lovely new pair of Saucony shoes which were on offer. :)

A lovely experience, me and my partner went in looking for something and David talked through our running and explained why it might not be the best thing for us. Then video recorded both of our running and gaits and found shoes for our needs! We spent over an hour there talking through each item and it felt really personalised and helpful. Would give more than 5stars if possible!

Just bought my 3rd pair of running shoes from this shop. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff are professionals who really care about getting the right shoe for the individual. I took my new pair out this morning and they are wonderful!

Brilliant advice. I needed a pair of new running shoes after injury. Shop was recomended to me by colleagues who go to marathons. I found their advice very helpful without forcing certain brands.
