Peter Green Furniture and Flooring

We had gone in to the shop to try and select a flooring we liked. We noticed the one that we wanted to go with was on sale with an online retailer with a significant reduction. I called up and asked if they would be willing to match the price. I spoke with Helen, who was great, she took all the details and said that she would need to check with a Director if this would be possible, and she would call me back. Within 15 minutes she called and they were willing to match the other retailers price, so I ordered there and then. Great service originally in store from Simon, then again from Helen over the phone and from the company as a whole to ensure they price competitively.

We visited the Chandlers Ford branch of Peter Green today and cannot speak highly enough of the warm and friendly welcome we were given by Lorraine. We were really just browsing but she walked with us to show us the item we were looking for at the very far end of the store and then helped with all our queries. All this in addition to being really nice to our dog. She is a credit to the store. It will be no surprise that our browsing turned into a massive purchase . We couldnt have asked for better service.

After visiting various furniture stores, went into Peter Green Furniture in Chandler’s Ford. After a few minutes of viewing the Jarrow range and taking some measurements, Clare approached me and, quite unobtrusively, enquired if I needed assistance. Clare was so helpful and informative and, with her expertise, I was able to choose six matching pieces of furniture, completely suiting my needs. Within an hour of leaving the store I received a phone call arranging a delivery date and time. Just ten days later my furniture was delivered, unpacked, placed in position and all packaging removed. I have been delighted with the service that Peter Green has provided and have not hesitation in recommending the company.

I received an email to get a discount on Bank holiday Monday (28/8/23) so dropped by, I was looking for a new sofa. Claire spent time with me and we found a great corner sofa in the Sale and with the extra 10% discount it was a terrific price. I was expecting to wait a couple of weeks for delivery and the next day I got a call from Chris and the sofa will be delivered tomorrow - result!! 2 days for a new sofa, doesn't get much better and they are taking the old one away as well. Claire did an excellent job and the delivery team are backing up the whole team, well done all of you.

We were refurbishing a property and decided to fit Amtico flooring throughout. Simon, one of the flooring experts, was amazing. He literally spent hours with us as we chose all the different options for each room, and making sure we would have the finish we wanted. Alan and Matthew who fitted the flooring did a superb job. We had a call from Simon after the floor was fitted to check we were happy and another call a month later to check there were no problems. Highly recommended

We were looking for bedroom furniture for our granddaughter and couldn't quite make up our minds what we wanted. Nigel asked if we wanted any help and we are so glad that he served us. He was very knowledgeable, and had infinite patience! We are looking forward to everything arriving in a few weeks time. I will certainly be going back to Peter Green's if/when we need any more furniture and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone who is looking for all-round excellent service.

We have bought different types of furniture and flooring from Peter Green over many years and have always been very impressed by the level of service and the goods on display.The shop staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you to Clare for helping us to find just the right mattress for us, and also thanks to the delivery team for getting here within the specified time and for being so cheerful in the heat!

From the moment we walked in Stuart and the rest of the team were so welcoming. It has taken us 4 months from when we first walked in to get to ordering due to a house move but Stuart has been very patient, talking us through each stage. We were offered samples to take home and never pressured to buy. The products are brilliant and there is plenty of choice for all tastes. The cafe is an excellent addition as we often spent many hours there trying out the beds and choosing flooring. A wonderful local family business, we will be back!

My wife and I have been customers of Peter Green for over twenty years and have always had exceptional service from their team, with a wide range of excellent products. Recently, James Anson went out of his way to help us in purchasing a new bed, patiently explaining the pros and cons of the various options and getting us to try each of them in turn. His expert knowledge of the various products and his ability to impart that knowledge understandably made the whole process so much easier. An excellent experience.

Placed an order for a new bed with Clare this afternoon and we where very impressed with the way she helped us explaining all about the bed and ordering the new one. She gave us all the time we needed without any pressure and it was a pleasure going through everything with her, just as we wanted and have experienced with Peter Green in the past.

Huge range of quality sofas, flooring, beds and much more. We took weeks to finally decide on the sofa and carpets we wanted, visiting the store almost weekly before ordering our new G-Plan leather suite.and carpets. The sales staff were helpful, attentive and knowledgeable, especially Clare who was a gem, with no hard selling at any time. We’re going to miss or weekly visits, with lunch in the lovely cafe. We would recommend Peter Green to anyone looking to purchase quality furniture.

We entered the shop as 1st-time visitors to Peter Green after i had heard a radio advert for them. We were looking for a quality suite . James came by and with no pressure asked what we had in mind which after a good hour & a half ended with us buying a very nice leather G-plan suite. James and the team were easy to deal with and patient.Our suite was delivered by a very good team, we will return for further purchases.

Always so helpful, knowledgeable about everything they sell. We've bought lots of furniture from Peter Green, and almost all the flooring in the house. We always feel that the staff are genuinely advising us on the best options rather than pushing what will make them the most money. We have always been very happy with the installation, delivery, service, etc. When the recent bed event was announced, it encouraged us to take the plunge and renew our bedroom - a big investment but Nigel talked us through it all and made the decisions very easy. We couldn't be happier.

Have recently visited Peter Green on two separate occasions and was very impressed with the range of furniture on display. Last time we bought a new suite after a long search we ended up at Peter Green's furniture store where we successfully bought our suite. This time it is where we started, did not need to go anywhere else as found the perfect suite and curtain fabric to go with it. We were served both times (first time was with my daughter to have a look round, the second time to order) by Lorraine Parrick who was brilliant! So helpful and made shopping at Peter Green's a pleasure and so easy. We also bought a new mattress today. The man who assisted us on our earlier visit was very helpful and informative too. Would thoroughly recommend Peter Green's.

Nothing was too much trouble for our assistant, Nigel Weston-Davis who not only sold us a range of G- Plan self adjusting furniture but also sold us a brilliant mattress that we were only thinking about!
