I regularly go to this Spar shop to send my yodel parcels. The lady assistant works hard for long hours.
I had real problems with the collection of parcels and the lady really took her time to assist me. She always had a chat and I have always found her to be great!

What’s absolutely shocking to me, reading all these negative reviews, is how they pertain to people who only wanted the service of their parcels. Buy something from the shop regardless if they offer the service or not. It’s to their own discretion. I have only received jovial banter and a ready smile from a lovely lady Mrs Patel. On my bad days she is quick to make me feel better and the products are exactly what I need which is a bonus. So yes, I like this place and I will continue to go. Take your parcels elsewhere.

I have recently started using this shop to send parcels via yodel .
The lady behind the counter always makes me feel welcome, even though at times she is very busy with other customers . She is helpful & has a friendly manner.

I’ll go to the shop on a regular basis to pick up my parcels. I find the staff very friendly specially the woman behind the counter. She is lovely friendly and funny and very helpful and I always leave the shop with a smile on my face.

I rarely go in this store, only because my son is fussy & the things he wants aren't available (or too expensive!) - but whenever I DO go in, they're friendly & helpful. I especially love the lady, she has a wicked sense of humour & was amazing during the pandemic when there was no toilet roll, flour, eggs etc.

Very hard-working lady that takes much pride in her shop. Gets a lot of criticism, but just her fun personality. Doesn't like big parcels after 10, as couriers have collected and large parcels crowd her shop, and likewise doesn't want parcels piling up over the weekend. It is a service she is providing, and not her main business, remember she is a retailer, and earning 20p per parcel. Would you do it in your home / business...?!
Her samosas are fabulous... and she has a microwave to heat them so you can eat on the go, and especially now in this cold weather. For those that want to moan, go elsewhere. Give our local trades a break and show support, otherwise they close up and we moan we don't have these local services.

I always come here when I'm in for ford for the usual bits you cant normally find. Staff are always friendly to me.

The first rule of being a 'convenience store' is that it has to be convienient! But Laxmi is more... it is well stocked and cheerful which makes visiting all the more than just convienient! Staff always cheery even when you're in and out in 2 minutes!

Lovely little shop. The lady is always smiling and helpful when I go in to drop or collect my Yodel parcels.

Lady at this shop is so lovely! Not once have i've been in the shop and she hasnt said hello. They also make the best Samosa's! 5/5
