Shah Supermarket

I'm starting to use this shop more and more. They've always got what I need and well priced.

Competition clearly has this shop hated! Lovely owners, newly designed. Basically a nearby Tesco. I always buy more than what I need as they have good offers. Thank you to my local costcutter.

Local shop, has most food items on sale, handy if you run out of anything.
Prices high compared to supermarket in town, but this is in keeping with all corner shops

On 27th May I Went to return an Amazon package. I found the people completely unhelpful and virtually non communicative. They said it was too big. I am little and 82. I do not know how they define what’s too big. I had to start return process over again. Spar garage shop on the Ridge were so much more kind and helpful.

I wish I had read the reviews prior to driving some distance to this store. I found the male cashier rude, unhelpful and patronising. Amazon had sent instrictions for me to return a parcel via this shop. The cashier refused to acknowledge any part in the process, stating that they did not label or take these parcels. I went to another store nearby and the difference in their attitude, welcome and general service was phenomenal. I will not be going back to Shah store neither would I recommend it to others.

Seriously dodgy! I always feel ripped of when I come out of this shop. They nearly always overcharge, or give wrong change, or put the wrong price into the till. Avoid this shop. Go to the One Stop or the other convenience shop further down the hill.

Awful experience, had a delivery from ups that didn’t arrive at my address, had the slip of paper and the online confirmation receipt both saying ID wasn’t needed to collect my delivery and the guy refused to even read it, now I can’t get my parcel as I don’t have the ID they want, guy was rude and condescending to me and my partner, one star is generous.
