Blake's convenience store

My housemates and I love Blake’s, and go almost daily. Super lovely staff, quick service, nice fresh bread and produce options. We drink about a flat of iced coffees and week- and they always keep it replenished for us!

A very friendly shop, with a post office counter. A wide selection of food, snacks and drinks available and they cater for dietary requirements. Staff are always ready to assist, if you need any help and welcome you with a smile. Definitely recommend this shop if wanting some high quality food or snacks.

This is the best convenience store that I've ever lived by, the people who work there are really great. One time I asked if they were going to stock jalapeño cheese again or if it was there and I'd missed it, because I mistakenly remembered buying it there before. (It was actually Mulberrys across the road that I'd bought it from and they've stopped selling it). He said they don't sell it but can order some in, which isn't something I would ever have expected a shop to do for me! A few days later the cheese was there in the cheese fridge and I bought it. :)

It also has a post-office section which is much better than any other places that I've gone into as other ones often shut their post-office area at midday or the very early afternoon.

Ps. The shop has just been renovated.

New owners are a breath of fresh air. Very personable and happy to support their business. Finally some nice beer in the fridge too.

Although a small shop it has a really well stocked and varied selection of goods. The icing on the cake are the staff - so friendly & helpful. A1

Lovely guys, very helpful.... Total life saver just let me send some Christmas parcels despite the the post office being closed. Really nice people!!!!!!

The new owners seem to be on the ball and the shop now looks very nice. I had originally given a bad review for the previous owners that left without any notice and this no longer applies.

Friendly and helpful staff, good selection at fair prices and willing to order in items if you ask - good enough variety for picking up essentials and more

So sad they gone They were a great couple in there never rude and always happy to help , really gutted they gone as used to use daily and was no warning they were closing. VERY SAD , WE NEED POST OFFICES
