Co-op Food - Peterborough - Thorpe Road

One of my favourite Co-Op stores in United Kingdom. It has exactly what I need. Never an issue to park here. You do have to watch out for pedestrians and be careful as a pedestrian especially if you are crossing from the opposite side when you visit Co-Op.
The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a busy place, so you will usually see them putting stock on shelves and checking customers out.
A decent variety of chocolates and crisps are available here, there is a limited amount of vegetables. It’s likely you can find the usual ones here.
Some of the food here like Vintage Mac n Cheese has become a favourite and we don’t have many weekends that go by without it.

Been in today to get food before I took my 3 hour bus trip to see my other half. Customer service was great then, very informative and kind despite me being a little jumpy due to needing to be at the bus stop in 5 minuets before my bus arrived. But later on my bus didn't stop for me, so I was in an utter panic due to my anxiety and having autism which doesn't help matters either. To top it all off I had forgotten my phone so you can gather how much of a panic I was in.
I approached a very kind woman behind the counter begging for a phone to call my family and she kindly did so. I was so panicked yet she was so kind and considerate. She could've said no but she didn't. I understand its not every day you get something like that but it meant so much how kind she was despite my utter panic. Wish I found out her name but didn't sadly. But if you're reading this kind staff member from behind the counter, thank you for being so kind.

That being said I've always had a pleasant experience in the shop whenever I go in so I highly recommend, 10/10 I'll shop again!

Great range of products, friendly staff and brilliant opening hours as they are open until 11pm. Perfect local store with a good loyalty programme that helps local community causes and always has some good bits on special offer. They also stock a very nice range of wines and offer a Costa Coffee machine in store.

This is our local co-op and have very good experiences shopping here.
BUT today I took two kids(mine and my friend's- returning after the school trip), bought two hot chocolates, PAID immediately and then waited for 15 min to leave the other kid with her mom, who was supposed to meet me there. My husband was also with me. While leaving the kids near the Costa machine, we both went around the shop to purchase more stuff that we needed. My husband went to checkout, and since my friend arrived I went outside to leave the kids with her. The staff came running behind me shouting we can't go out without paying for the costs items. We actually paid for them. My husband is still inside for the checkout and went to grab an item that he missed.
We had no idea what that lady was trying to say. She sounded like we were stealing something from the shop. We have no reason to do that. We didn't even walk away, but were just waiting for my husband to come.
I felt very bad with this experience. Please be considerate. We have come far away leaving our family and friends to work for this country. We only expect a smile and a little kindness.
I still love this shop.

I'm writing this review because I thought a guy called kasey was very helpful. I was queing up but no tills where open.kasey could see we where in need and opened the till for us . He was very helpful and nice .Being like that makes a difference

Road side grocery and essential items on Peterborough Thorpe road.

What a great store with great staff. They saved me from the disaster of coming back to my car finding a puncture, then my mobile dying with a fault. With all my contacts on the phone, they couldn't have done more to help. What great service especially as they were busy - Thanks.

Great little shop with friendly staff. Not as overly priced as some people think. Very convenient as I work literally round the corner. Superb.

Excellent - well stocked , good choice of items and open early until late. Staff friendly and join the Co Op club to save rewards for you and local causes - always some good offers

Great store, with an amazing range of delicious food and really friendly staff. Also it has plenty of parking at the side of the shop.
