Sainsbury's

Went shopping here recently towards the end of the evening to pick up a nonessential item that my heavily pregnant wife had a sudden and unexpected craving for.

As it was towards the end of their working day and I suspect that the employees wanted me and the other late night shoppers to leave an announcement was made with the intention of getting me to hurry up.

Seconds after this announcement was made I was plunged into darkness in another apparent attempt to speed my shopping experience! I was most displeased about this return to a medieval style of illumination that I almost said something to a member of staff, but alas, I thought that would be too much excitement for one day so simply left.

Good deal on carrots at the moment.

Update: veg in general is quite well priced.

Love this place. I honestly only ever shop here. The layout is perfect. It's open, and even when it's really busy, it doesn't feel like it... until you get to the tills 🤦🏽‍♀🤣!
It has everything I need, nothing is ever out of stock and most of the staff there are just so friendly. I'm totally not sure if it's OK to name names, but there is a particular male staff member who absolutely makes my day every time I go in 💖 an absolute diamond and a huge credit to this Sainsburys.

Very good selection of halal food in the fridge and freezer sections, argos inside is very good too it's got the catalogue screens and has a lot of stock there is also a lot of skincare items here and staff are friendly

Sainsbury's has everything I look for - from groceries, bakery, meat, medicines, cosmetics, clothing to delicious take away food. There is always enough stock of all items barring eggs and a few others. The staff are very helpful. The smart and self checkout facilities are available as well as a few staff assisted counters. The car parking caters to a lot. The facility also stations Argos, Starbucks and restrooms.

As for price, Sainbury's is a little pricey over Aldi. However, some items are cheaper and have better availability in Sainbury's. The nectar card is advantageous with offers and discounted prices.

On the whole, Sainsbury's at Winnersh is a happy shopping experience 👍🙂

Just came to do my mum's weekly shop, we tried to get the wheelchair basket to move unfortunately the wheels were locked.

Not too bad. If you go after 6 you can get some good food on sale

I love Sainsbury's. Would highly recommend. Great selection of goods as well. I've had one bad experience with floor staff but the managers dealt with my complaint fantastically. Not enough six pints of whole milk. These are minor grips though and would still recommend.

Nice big shop. Parking is good, spaces are big. Shop is well set out inside. Good range of stock. Staff helpful and friendly. Overall a good shop! Lindor pick and mix is cool. Handy having an argos as well, as a lot of sainsburys have. Bottle bank for glass recycling was full to bursting when I was there.

Bit busy but think it's due to the time of year. Sainsburys is our favourite shop round here, seems to be cheaper and more reasonable than some of the lower end supermarkets nowadays!
