Wickes Peterborough

Came in today to purchase a carabiner clip! Found a two pack that was very reasonably priced and exactly what I needed, I was then served by Francesca who was so friendly and polite! Will definitely return for my next carabiner day out!

Brilliant service. This company have definitely got Click and Collect off to a fine art.
Ordered, received email confirmation, text quickly followed to confirm my order was ready for collection plus email.
No waiting in the queue to enter the shop. Really helpful staff let you in to wait at the Click and Collect point. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Very easy and definitely conforming to Covid measures.

Had a problem with a paint match after opening second tin, different shade,same colour code .David checked other tins and found to be different,He mixed a colour to match for me after a lot of patience on his part and didn't charge for the extra cost . We recently had a complete refurbishment of our kitchen - fittings, plaster, tiles, electrics etc. Can't praise Wickes and our fitter Jason (and his team of skilled contractors) highly enough! From planning to completion was seamless and the end result fantastic. Eight days from start to finish - couldn't have gone better!

Just picked up this CLS and ply. Good quick service. Easy to get and load.

Tremendously good for diy enthusiasts. I do the odd jobs at home and this shop and its location just drew me in like a magnet. In terms of availability it may loose to big B&Q in town but location already mentioned, layout of things where you can have a stroll along the Isles thinking 'I want this and that' coming up with various home improvements projects, this shop does it for me. Worth to mention the staff are helpfull.

Very good systems in place to ensure social distancing and helpful, pleasant staff. Plus they actually had the items they said they had in stock. Complete contrast to B&Q who were a shambles.( and didn't have the items they said they had in stock!)

Just needed a few bits for some house maintenance, there was one item I couldn't find and one of the guys not only pointed me in the right direction, he actually took me to the location of the item. Much appreciated, many thanks.

Good place to shop for your DIY or trade needs. If the product you want isn't in store, you would most likely be able to order on their website for delivery or collection.

An added advantage over B&Q is that WICKES take AMEX cards so happy shopping..

Have used Wickes for many years and have always been happy with the service they provide.
Used their click and collect at start of lock down - spot on.
Been in since they re-opened using social distancing - again well done.
B&Q/Homebase they are not. For the trade they meet the requirement - in and grab what you want and leave.
Unless you are at least an experienced DIYer it may not be the place for you.

Love it, Wickes always have good deals, the staff there are friendly and always happy to assist. The store is clean and tidy, and safer than other stores, ie the saws are up high...

Easy to get to, plenty of parking, good selection of products and good value, a staff member was kind enough to open a till for me as I sometimes have trouble standing/walking :)
