YISHOO Asian Food

I've just been in for my first visit to this store in Wokingham. What an absolutely brilliant place! A massive selection of Asian foods, pretty much everything that you could wish for and then some. I spoke to the lady behind the checkout and she was really friendly. She said business has been slow to start with as they don't advertise or have a website, so tell your friends what a gem of a store this is. This is exactly what we need in Wokingham and it needs our support, unless you think we need more coffee and charity shops? They sell some products which are also available in Waitrose, but they are about 40% cheaper at Yishoo. What's not to love! As for the person who said the store wasn't welcoming, try actually speaking to the staff and they will give you whatever help you need and advice on how to cook and use the products. The lady I spoke to could not have been more helpful. Thank you so much and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

So happy to have Yishoo on our doorstep, from simple staples like crushed garlic paste and coconut milk to amazing Thai curry pastes and authentic soy sauce etc.

I was waiting for a store like this for a long time.

Great that Wokingham now has an East Asian grocery shop. Although small, this shop on Denmark Street has a fantastic range of frozen authentic bao buns, frozen dim sum such as dumplings, cupboard essentials like soya sauce and tofu, and even sweet treats such as mochi. Its also well stocked with good prices.

Vast range of quality food, including cupboard and fresh foods. Prices realistic and very helpful staff. Need a bigger shopping bag next time!

Sadly disappointing. I wanted to support a new local business but it isn't welcoming. No signage explaining what the different products are.. I had not idea what some items are. Secondly to be surcharged for a Dojo contactless was disgraceful. It's not legal.. and Dojo only charges 1.4%. I suggest you make the shop more welcoming for those who are new to Asian food... and stop breaking the law.
