They have a very beautiful garden infront their eating area and their way of taking orders is worth appreciating. The food was very yum and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended it.

Very tasty Bengali food.
Can be crowded on touristy days. Crowd reduces after 2:30pm but the place closes at 3:30pm. If you can find a table service is quite fast. Quality and quantity of food offered is excellent. Much recommended if you are visiting Shantiniketan.

Very nice place to visit in Bolpur. Food is great, tasty but oily. Nice garden. Must visit with friends and family. You can spend at least 2 hours here. They offer traditional Bengali foods. Good ambiance. Amar kutir shopping store is very near from here.

Situated in a segregated place, far off from the highway. The dishes are served mainly in a platter format (Thalis). With Veg Thali costing 150 Rs. (You can order other dishes such as Chicken, Fish, Eggs separately but they would add up to your expenses accordingly). Now as far as the taste is concerned, it's the best "Bangali" Food you could get at this price. Tastes good and all the stuff persistently maintain hygeine and table etiquette.

One of the best bengali thali is offered in this homely place. Ran by the Amar Kutir society, it is situated in the ballavpur. The food is tasty. Presentation is good. The combination is really well balanced. They start with ghee and end with payes in the brass utensils. It is really a Paradise for Bengali food lovers..

Very clean and hygienic restaurant in between the woods of Bolpur. It is at a walking distance from Amar Kutir and Rangabitan Tourist Complex. Food served is very delicious and the garden is also beautiful.

Nice place with good food. But reach early as high demand items do sell out quickly. On weekends expect some wait time to get a table.

If you are looking for the best bengali food. This is the place for you. Trust me you would love the food. The unique thing is that all utensils, plates, glasses and water jug is made of copper, which really enhances the richness of water and overall food as well. Price is very reasonable considering the quality of food they provide.

Food was really good - both in terms of quality and quantity.
In 150 rupees, they offer the veg thali with plain rice, ghee, sak bhaja, sukto, dal, beguni, salad, sabji of the day, chutney, papor, payes. Except for the beguni, they repeat.
Egg curry (double egg) - 60 rupees. Taste is really good. And food served in a very decent and photogenic way.

Even if you are hungry, you cannot miss taking a picture of such a beautifully presented thali.

Well maintained, authentic bengali food. Very tasty food, reasonably priced. You can buy local ghee from them. Try to reach by 1pm to avoid extra rush.

We visited in an week end .it was very crowded there .We ordered Veg thali,mutton,ilish.
Portion was good.
Taste was great
Quality is good.
Service is very good. If table is available then time to serve food is maximum 5-7 mins.
We purchased some home made food items from Amar kutir which looks fresh and made with home cooked quality products.

The food was extremely good. Thalis were very cheap. Veg thali costed 130 and it's unlimited. Pay 130 and eat all you want for the veg thali.
You can also buy chicken for Rs. 80 per plate, double egg omelet, fish and mutton as extra dishes but those are not unlimited and will cost you for per plate.
Overall it was hygienic, everything we ordered was delicious and super cheap. The Hesel is also air conditioned so eating in summer seasons won't be much of a problem. The food is served in beautiful copper plates as well and the staff is well behaved and polite.
Card and UPI payments are supported as well and there's parking space for cars as well.

It was an amazing experience ..be it the hospitality or the food evrythng was so nice..d best thing was the authentic tasty Bengali food presented on lotus leaf placed on thali dt wl gv u a special feel along wt d decor n ambience of d place..loved the Alooposto Pomfret Pabda n evryyything. A Must Visit once u go Bolpur.
