Purandarpur Kali Mandap

It's an excellent Goddess Kali Mondop to visit during Kali Puja or Diwali the festival of lights. The Puja is organised by Bandhab Samity a famous club in Purandarpur also known for their social works. The Kali Statue is 2nd highest height among Kali Pujas celebrated in Birbhum district. It's situated on the main connectivity road of both Suri Bolpur and Suri Futisako. The nearest busstand is Purandarpur School more. The Goddess Kali Mondop is near about 150 MTR walking distance from this busstand. The height of Goddess Kali is 40ft here. Other cultural programmes are also took place during this event of Kali Puja here.

This is another famous Kali Mata Idol in Purandarpur nearing Suri . The size of the Isol is almost 48-50 ft . huge number of people visits this place during Kali Puja

The key feature of Purandarpur Kali mandir that makes it different is that, here the giant incarnation of Maa Kali is worshipped which is considered to be the tallest ever incarnation around!

Huge 50 ft kali idol with mela with mainly food and stationary shops, riding items. Cultural festival is also held like drama, dance, poetry, singing, orchestra.

This the biggest Kali Idol in our Birbhum district. During Kali puja many people visit Purandarpur to watch the Kali Idol.
