OLIVE INN Homestay

A home away from home!!! I have stayed with the Olive Inn with my friends twice this year and each time the experience has been excellent. Be it the comfort of their rooms, lip smackering food or their warm hospitality, this places never fails to charm you. And in both of these times neither me nor any of my friends felt unsafe within the premises of this beautiful holiday home. I don't know about others but I can't think of any better place to stay in Shantiniketan other than the Olive Inn. See you guys soon on my third trip

Received great behavior from staff member. The food offered was great with low spice. The staff members are always attentive and help out. Overall a great experience.

This is undoubtedly of the best homestays available in Santiniketan. The location is right near all the important attractions. Proximity to the main Viswabharati campus, provides total immersion in the local culture and a homely experience that hotels will simply be unable to match. Good food, local music, and unmatched hospitality makes you want to revisit it again and again. Obviously if you are expecting a hotel like environment,then I wouldn't suggest any homestays for you. If you want to chill back relax and enjoy a relaxing weekend in the heart of Tagore's Santiniketan then this is the place for it.

We are from Mumbai and stayed at olive Inn Shantiniketan for 2 nights. The location is excellent, safe and very very peaceful.

From Olive Inn all sight seeing places are near by & one can stroll early morning or late evenings on university road/muesum road... can feel the true vibes of Shantiniketan....

Rooms with air-condition are available.. Toilets are clean and hygienic.. however Towels and toiletries like soap and shampoo are not provided , in homestay..we had carried our own towels and toiletries hence we were comfortable.

Food is Homely and they hv good options of chicken fish veg etc is available.. They ll also prepare food as per visitors request.

Owner and associated members of Olive Inn are very warm, humble & helpful.

I recommend this place for people who wants a decent Homely stay at Shantiniketan.

It's situated just beside the purono swimming pool, in the heart of Shantiniketan. A nice place to live in. Its environment is homely. Pleasent view from balcony and window is a refreshment for the mind. The room services they provide are in time. Food quality and taste is really good which is cooked by the hosts themselves at their own home. Overall it was a beautiful experience to stay here. I recommend it during a tour for relaxing.

I don't think there was any complaints during my stay here. I was on a work tour and this was the best place to come and crash at the end of a tiring day. Even though it's right in the center of the university it's secluded enough to give you a calm staying experience. Getting to anywhere in Shantiniketan is super convenient here. Also the homestay experience is completed by the warm gestures of the people who run this place. Sharing some pics of the view from my window.

Probably one of the best stays I've had. I was visiting Shantiniketan for the first time with my friends and it was no doubt a lovely experience. The location is very convenient and safe. Rooms are very spacious and the helpers are very sweet and helpful. Food is homely and cheap and is beautifully prepared. Would obviously suggest everyone to try this place!

A very good place to live in. The environment is homely. The large Lalbandh on the North with its pleasant view is a free gift for the mind. Add to it a caring hostess who supervises her guests personally always. The location is in the heart of Shantiniketan Ashram. Overall it is worth staying indeed and relaxing for a few days

Food, washroom, Room especially the service each and everything is amazing.

The service was over the moon. Me and my family felt right at home. They treated us with so much kindness and were so hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay.

I reached this homestay by a sheer stroke of luck since my original booking had been cancelled at the last moment. But, once I stayed here, I would ascertain that I stay here whenever I intend to visit Shantiniketan, The homestay is conveniently located at a central location from all major tourist hubs. Coupled with that, it radiates a homely ambience. The hosts are also extremely hospitable and the food served round the clock is cooked by the hosts themselves at their own home. It is definitely a home away from home and once you discover this place, let me assure you that you will not want to stay anywhere else while in the city.

Good place to relax with water bodies around Olive INn Homestay with home cooked food by the hostess and tasted authentic bengali food. Good responsible staff. Good place to live and walk around Viswavarati University. Felt the touch of Bengal and Rabindra Nath Tagore.

Amazing homestay with beautiful scenic view from balcony, Food quality is also very very good, you don't feel like you are eating outside food , it's really very testy.

I feel at home..... In fact more like parents home where everything is taken care and you are pampered. As it's I'm the heart of Biswa Bharati, I love the place, the people, the service and above all it's the only service provider who pampers your pet same as you.

In front of lalbandh just behind kala bhavan hostel. Properly located, super services, super friendly staff, baul sangeet program arranged, homely atmosphere and super star goes to the food quality served. Double beds were ₹1850 and 4 bedded rooms were ₹2500.

1) Position :heart place of Santiniketan.very nice.
2) Hospitality: Very much commendable.may go and feel it.
3) Food Quality: Delicious.
4)No scope for any complain.
