Villa Le Prata Wine Resort

Staying at Villa Le Prata was like a Tuscan fairytale. My husband and I had the pleasure of enjoying 3 nights at this beautifully restored villa in October 2023 and it was the highlight of our trip. The villa itself is divine and thoughtfully designed and styled to make you feel at home. The rooms are huge and extremely comfortable, and the decor is inviting and relaxed. The exterior is beyond delightful, from the time you enter through the large steel gates to the main entrance doors, everything is well thought out and true to Tuscan design. The gardens are a dream and the glasshouse at breakfast time is magical. From breakfast to dinner the food is exceptional and the staff make you feel like you've been invited into their home. And the location, Montalcino is one of the most scenic areas of Tuscany we have visited, we couldn't get enough of the tiny town and the breathtaking views along the Val d'Orcia. Book you stay and hire a car, you won't be disappointed.

This is a wonderful property. It’s a beautifully updated 4 story country home that was originally built as a luxury hunting lodge in the mid-1800’s. They produce excellent Brunello from the vineyards surrounding the Manor House. The owner, Anna Vitorria Losappio, is a wonderful host. I own a winery in Sonoma County (Flanagan Wines) and I visit wine regions around the world. Villa Le Prata is a beautiful spot. We spent 3 fantastic days here and would love to go back!

My husband and I spend three nights at Villa Le Prata to kick off our honeymoon. If heaven was a place on earth, I am pretty sure it would be Villa Le Prata and the surrounding Val d'Orcia area. Oh my goodness, we not only had a wonderful stay at the Villa, we participated in so many wonderful experiences that the staff helped us to set up (dinner in the vineyard, cooking class, horseback riding, etc.). This was the perfect place for us to start our Tuscan honeymoon and we could not be more thankful to the team at Villa Le Prata for making everything perfect for us. The breakfast is unassuming but excellent (I loved all the different selections). The rooms are beautiful and tastefully decorated. The property is a dream to explore. The staff are beyond kind and helpful. Everything was perfect and we could not recommend Villa Le Prata enough. I am already hoping to return!

Wow! What an amazing experience it is to stay at Villa le Prata. My boyfriend and I only stayed for 1 night in august 2023, but we fell in love with the place. A very beautiful villa with exceptional service, amazing food, comfortable big rooms and a very romantic atmosphere. Such a gem! Highly recommended!

Wow what a dream property! My husband only spent 2 nights here after our wedding in Assisi last month June 2023. We wanted a peaceful and tranquil location after our wedding and I'm so pleased we found Villa Le Prata Wine Resort! The hospitality service we received from Minnie and her staff were exceptional. From the breakfast to dinner staff, all very friendly and helpful. The bed and pillow were SUPER comfortable and we both slept so well. I hope we'll be back one day. My husband, Brian, and I had an amazing time at this special place. The property is breathtaking and the service outstanding. Everyone makes you feel home; we didn’t want to leave. We will never forget our time ant Villa Le Prata and hope to go back soon. We highly recommend you to stay there if you want a memorable vacation.

Truly the most wonderful experience we’ve had. The beauty is breathtaking from the first moment you drive up and then you explore. In every corner of the Villa to the grounds surrounding the Villa the beauty is overwhelming. The staff and owner treat you like extended family they welcome you with open arms. There is nothing they won’t do for you. A very special feeling for sure. The food was the best we had in Italy and the wine is superb!! It is truly a bucket list and we will miss everyone here. We will be back. We must be back!! Do not miss this place it is truly special in every way!!

My wife and I fell in love with this place and did not want to leave. Other than being very beautiful and serene, and having wonderful food and wine, the staff is what makes Villa Le Prata special. Francesco welcomed us immediately and showed us the grounds, and later led us through our wine tasting. Raymond ensured all of our requests were fulfilled and made us feel at home. Simone is an exquisite chef who kindly taught us to make some wonderful dishes. Every staff member we met made us feel as though we’ve known them for years. We’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Villa Le Prata during our honeymoon and it was so memorable and romantic. The entire staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. We also celebrated a milestone birthday during our stay and the staff surprised us with a cake + candle in our room one morning with coffee!!!! They also helped my husband plan a very special day of surprises around Montalcino AND a surprise dinner in their wine cellar. The food is some of the best we had during our two week trip to Italy. And let's not forget - their wine!! We shipped several bottles home to the U.S. before we left. 10/10 recommend this lovely resort.

This must be one of the best and most beautiful places in Montalcino.

The villa is not that big so you don’t get the atmosphere and the pressure of a hotel.
You feel like home, a second home, very quiet, surrounded by vineyards and trees and cicadas.
The rooms, bathroom, entrance (both of them), yard, pool, park, vineyards… are out of this world.
The breakfast is superb and the owners feel like family. They love their wine and what they do and I also love their wine. Do the wine tasting and you will understand.
This place will make you want to come back as soon as you leave, you will always think of it - like a nice painting will leave in your memory as soon as you move away from it.

Amazing stay at this lovely agriturismo by Anna & Bernardo. We stayed in the beautiful Pittore room which offers great views over the Tuscan hills. The room is very comfortable with airconditioning, a great bed and a good bathroom. Every morning a delicious local breakfast is served in the garden. You can enjoy a day near the beautiful infinity pool with views over the vineyard. Bernardo took us on a mesmerizing tour through the region on 50+ year old manual Vespa’s, including a delicious lunch and a relaxing visit to natural hot springs (including a glass of bubbles from their own vineyard). Anna is super kind and helped us reserve the best balcony table of a lovely restaurant. But the best dinner during our stay were the Pici made in the amazing kitchen of Villa le Prata itself. Anna, Bernardo and all the other staff treated us like a ‘prince and princess’. We definitely recommend a stay at this unique and fantastic place.

Staying at villa Le Prata has been a very exquisite experience. Ana Victoria and all the team are just great kindness and they made our stay a memorable one surrounded by beauty. Don’t miss the pool with one of their wine ;) Thanks a lot, and until next time!

Wonderful experience at Villa Le Prata. 5 stars all around for location, service, facilities, cleanliness, food, location and staff/service. The staff are all incredibly friendly and super hard working.

We had wonderful meals, enjoyed the beautiful pool and the wine from the vineyards is spectacular. Couldn't recommend this place more for a Tuscan countryside experience.

Our stay at the Villa was absolutely incredible. This beautiful hotel/winery was at every moment a pleasure. From the very accomodating staff to the manicured grounds it was all fantastic. The guided wine tasting was a must do and the dinner was incredible out in the grounds. The pool and view from the deck was great at sunset. The rooms were very well managed and had all the must haves. Will be coming back and highly highly recommend this place.

If you plan your vacation/trip around Tuscany hills and if you're looking for very relaxing moments, you can't miss this lovely place! Very nice breakfast and with a swimming pool where you can watch the sunset while drinking a glass of good wine, this place helps you to take a real break. It's also well positioned if you enjoy visiting nearby towns like Montalcino or Pienza.

The perfect place! Absolutely everything went very well. The Villa is really beautiful, the room is comfortable and very well decorated, the service impeccable, the kindness and attention of all the staff was the best among all the hotels we have been to. The dinner in the garden was wonderful, with an incredible menu prepared by chef Simone. Breakfast was varied and very tasty, also served in the garden with special attention from waiter Nelson, who served us very well. Finally, the perfect farewell with the purchase of some specials Brunellos and itinerary tips by the wonderful Minnie. Finally, a place not to be missed and highly recommended.

I have no words to describe the joy of staying here. My fiancé and I decided to do a very private exchange of vows in the hotel and spend our first days as a married couple here – what a beautiful and private setting to do so! The hotel was so kind and everyone was attentive and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. And to be clear, since we exchanged vows very privately (my husband + me + photographer), we did not give them a heads up, we just grabbed a secluded, intimate place to do it. The hotel will made sure we were comfortable and taken care of.

The wine, olive oil and honey were incredible – we ordered so much of it to bring home!

The rooms are gorgeous – Italian villa charm, but modernized so that we could enjoy all the comforts of a luxury villa. The villa is also eco-friendly and you could see that across the hotel. The olive oil toiletries were fabulous.

What a lovely stay – we honestly wish we could have spent more time there.

We just returned from Tuscany which included three nights at Villa Le Prata outside of Montalcino. Simply put, staying at Villa Le Prata was a wonderful experience. The villa and the grounds are magical. The rooms are luxurious. Most of all, the staff is exceptional and is always there to assist in anyway. Finally, we enjoyed three dinners at the villa and the food and service were exceptional. I highly recommend that you include a stay at Villa Le Prata during your next visit to Tuscany.

A beautiful, hospitable, lovely place to stay in the Tuscan countryside. Villa Le Prata takes hospitality very seriously and makes their guests feel welcome and accommodated. Because there are only (I believe) 8 rooms, it feels very cozy and quaint and the service feels more personal. Francesco was fantastic, helping us with bookings, recommendations and everything in between. Breakfast is a lovely spread and we enjoyed a very nice meal from the restaurant one of our nights. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
